Since the announcement of ‘Dhoom 3′, the movie had been a favourite of gossip mongers. After much speculation about the cast, the banner Yash Raj Films finalised Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.

Talks had been that Katrina has started to shoot for the film, getting trained for some high voltage action sequences. However the production team had rubbished it. Later it was also said that the British beauty will sizzle in a bikini – but then Katrina put down strict condition that she won’t be wearing the two-piece.

Now latest we hear that Katrina will be doing some underwater stunts for few action scenes in ‘Dhoom 3′. Earlier the actress had done scuba diving in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara’. So it wouldn’t be something new for the ravishing Kat and she is said to be very excited and looking forward to do the water diving part again, this time for YRF’s flick.

Wait there is more…. Katrina will also croon for her character in ‘Dhoom 3′. While she will be lending her voice for actor-singer Ali Zafar’s album, this will be first time the actress will sing for a film.

Someone has taken her classes pretty seriously. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has helped actress Katrina Kaif to be a biker babe. Katrina, who learnt bike riding for ZNMD seems to have gained a lot of confidence and drove the bike swiftly on Mumbai streets. Her co-star Hrithik Roshan hopped behind her.

Our cameras clicked Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif as they enjoyed their bike ride at the Filmcity area in Goregaon, Mumbai. Speaking about the style statement of both the stars, Katrina kept it casual and looked tough with boots and tight black pants. Hrithik too was seen in a cool T-shirt and was sporting a cap.

The best part was that Katrina drove two bikes! The first one being Royal Enfield (which she drove in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara) and the second one was Passion Pro. After their bike rides, Katrina and Hrithik spoke to media about their experiences about the bike ride and how they had lots of fun while shooting for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

ZNMD has already gained great commercial success. Directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, the story revolves around three friends – Arjun (Hrithik Roshan), Imraan (Farhan Akhtar) and Kabir (Abhay Deol), who set off for an adventure in Spain, that make them iron out their differences and teach them to seize the day.

Kissing scenes in Bollywood have always made tabloid headlines. So it’s not surprising that the lip-lock shared between Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) too is creating ripples. But Katrina is not amused and remains completely unfazed. The actor feels too much

attention is being given to the scene.

“Why give it so much importance? I don’t feel the sequence is even worth talking about. People won’t watch the film only for the kiss, I can promise you that. Personally too, I don’t give it any attention. People will come only if they are interested in the film, like the promos, or if they like the vibe of the film,” she says. “It’s part of an actor’s job.”

Of late, talks have been rife that the makers of ZNMD were confused about the Hrithik-Katrina kiss. They were believed to be in two minds regarding how much of the elaborate sequence should be retained in the film. But apparently, the kiss remains unedited in the final version.

This is not the first time Katrina has locked lips in a film. Her kiss with Gulshan Grover in her debut film, Boom (2003) was deleted from the initial versions of the DVDs , but is reportedly set to appear in the new versions. But she wasn’t bothered about her first on-screen kiss being made public too. “What’s there to react? And what’s new about those scenes?” she had said a couple of months ago. The actor had further added that she doesn’t deny having done scenes in the past she wasn’t comfortable with.

But Katrina is clearly excited to share screen space with Hrithik for the first time. “He is an amazingly talented person. I always wanted to work with him and I’m happy to have got the opportunity now. You can really learn a lot about focus, concentration and dedication from him,” she says. As ZNMD gears up for release, director Zoya Akhtar and her team have been serving up several promotional activities, including a tie-up with UTV Movies and the entire cast going on a road trip from Mumbai to Gurgaon. Ask Katrina about working with her second female director after Farah Khan (Tees Maar Khan, 2010) and she shrugs, “A female or male director… that’s not important to me. Actually, I don’t see any difference. You are either a good director or you are not, and hopefully I have met a good director (in Zoya Akhtar).”

Katrina Kaif is reportedly quite amused over the hoopla being created over her kissing scene with Hrithik Roshan in their upcoming film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

The film’s publicity machinery has been pumping reports in the media over how director Zoya Akhtar is in a fix over the kiss-that she can’t decide whether the kiss should be three minutes long or five minutes long or should it be totally chopped from the film.

That last option seems unlikely, though -you normally would have to be quite moronic as a filmmaker to totally edit out a scene that has Kat kissing Hrithik Roshan.

Kat, who is very much willing to flaunt her single image right now after her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, insists she as well as Hrithik were cool doing the smooch scene when it was shot and would have no problem if the sensuous scene was retained in the film.

Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif had a tough time shooting on a nude beach for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Imagine what happens when the hottest Indian stars, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, shoot on a nude beach! The duo had a tough time shooting on the Lloret De Mar, Costa Brava beach in Spain for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara . And before you assume anything… they were fully clothed!

When Hrithik and Katrina along with Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol were told by director Zoya Akhtar that they had to shoot on the beach for two days continuously, they were fine with it until they reached the location. It is Katrina’s introductory shot. The three boys see her for the first time on the beach and Farhan walks up to strike a conversation with her.

When Zoya had done a recce for the film 6-8 months before the shoot, the beach was nearly empty. So she did not anticipate any problems. However the scene was being shot during vacation time when there were a lot of people roaming in nude on the nude and it became problematic to film the scene.

A unit-member from the film’s crew says, “The beach is mesmerizing with white sand and Zoya Akhtar was sure she wanted to capture this in her film. But when the cast and crew reached on the location they felt awkward. They felt overtly clad and rather odd amongst the rest on the beach who were nude. Moreover the unit had to ensure that nobody comes into their frame”.

“However within couple of hours the unit forgot where they were shooting and got down to work. It was really crazy at the beginning with no one knowing where to frame, where to sit and where to put things. But after shooting among the Adams and Eves for 12 hours, we all got used to the scenes in front of us.”

Ask Zoya Akhtar about this particular scene and she reminisces, “It was a task to ensure that that no one else was in frame, as we did not want to go under the scanner of the censor board. So the entire crew was on high alert”.

The unit-member adds, “It was a beautiful white sand beach and even though they could make-do by shooting elsewhere, logistically this beach was most convenient.”

But then aren’t we all? Well yes in a way but not so much so that we go under panic attack just by seeing them, however something similar has happened with Katrina Kaif. Who has developed Selachophobia – fear of sharks during the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”. In film Katrina plays a diving instructor. Initially, she was very enthusiastic till the time she encountered a real shark in the ocean.

A source of Times of India said, “Two hours into sailing, the instructor asked her (Katrina Kaif) to jump into the sea. When she looked up, everyone was frantically gesturing to her. She thought they were making fun of her. She swam around, mesmerized by the aquatic life. After the shoot, the crew confessed to her that when she took her first dip, a shark passed by her. She was shocked, and the thought of the incident alone was enough to mortify her.”

About the incident Kat said, “We were shooting for three days to get the shot right and I lost about 3kg due to the mental strain and fear. I was really scared. In the shot, I am supposed to hold Hrithik’s hand and walk, but if you look closely, I was clutching his hand because I was scared”.

Kat will be seen in a complete new avatar supporting funky look. It is reported that she is planning to get temporary tattoos done as she is too scared of the permanent ones.

Ali Abbas has shortlisted few designs from which Kat was told to finalise the designs she wants to wear.

Katrina Kaif has recently finished the shoot in Spain for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and is now busy in wrapping up the shoot for Farah Khans ‘Tees Maar Khan’.

The film is scheduled to hit the theatres in 2011, so we have to wait till then to see Katrina’s grungy look.

If her keen interest in biking is any indication, she could well be the first actress in town to own a motorcycle in recent times. For that, she has Zoya Akhtar to thank, for casting her as a free-spirited girl who indulges in deep sea diving and dirt biking in Zindagi Milegi Na
Dobara.

Kaif, who started learning how to ride a bike in Mumbai before flying to Spain for the marathon spell, is now quite adept at handling a Royal Enfield. “That’s what was required for my character. So why not?” says the actor.

“Initially, a lighter bike helps you learn how to balance better. So I familiarised myself with that when I was in the city. Once I was in Spain, I moved on to heavier bikes,” says Kaif, who claims that she easily passed her test with a lighter bike.

On being questioned about the difficulties she overcame in handling a heavy motorcycle like a Royal Enfield for the stunts, the actor smiles, “I’m quite strong that way, you know.” But there must have been times when she struggled to control the bike or fell off in the beginning of her lessons? “Well, I suffered bruises on my knees a couple of times. But it’s no big deal,” she shrugs off.

However, by the time the schedule wrapped up, Kat had mastered the heavy-duty motorcycle. She reveals that she’d often go riding around after pack-up. “It was quite fun, riding around in Barcelona. Of course, the roads are good and there’s not too much traffic. But the experience has got me fascinated with the idea of owning a motorcycle,” she enthuses, adding that she’s looking forward to doing the bike stunts, having already finished her deep see diving portions for the movie. “Observing underwater life was a wonderful experience. Though I must admit lugging the heavy equipment can be tiring,” she says.

Probe her if she has shortlisted any hot wheels to fulfill her desire yet, and she says, “Nah. Not yet. I don’t want a lightweight bike, nor do I want a heavy one… I’d prefer something medium-weight considering the roads and traffic in the city.”

Interestingly, Kat is not too gung-ho about wearing a helmet while riding on city roads. “When I’m on a bike I like to feel the wind in my face. Besides, it keeps your vision is free to look around while riding,” she says.

Nonetheless, the actor is sure that when she eventually buys a bike, she will follow the traffic rules and will indeed wear a helmet. “Well, it will be a good disguise. Otherwise, people wondering why Katrina Kaif is riding around the city on a bike without a helmet might get too distracting for me,” she says.
