Katrina Kaif has acted in a number of romantic movies, brainless comedies and has even had a stab at thought-provoking cinema ever since she got her foot in the door to Bollywood, but there is one unfulfilled desire of hers.

“I wanna do a classic love story. Something like ‘When Harry Met Sally’…,” Katrina revealed recently at a press meet for the 55th Filmfare Awards.

Coming from the lady who’s admitted that she’s a romantic at heart, the revelation should prompt the writers in B-town to pen a few full-on romantic scripts.

When Zarine Khan first started shooting for her debut film Veer, the tabloids were full of stories of how similar her looks were to Bollywood babe Katrina Kaif.

Although Salman kept saying that the two are way different in looks people chose to believe what they saw themselves.

In Salman’s upcoming movie Veer Zarine Khan has played the role of Yasodhara. But this role of princess was initially offered to Salman’s lady love Katrina.

As per rumours, Katrina refused Salman due to date problems.

After her refusal, the role went to Zarine Khan who used to assist Katrina Kaif for a long time. And princess Yasodhara was Zarine and not Katrina.

Katrina would have looked perfect in the role of princess Yasodhara. But it seems Katrina’s loss is her look-alike‘s gain.

Salman Khan may have cast Zarine Khan as the princess in Veer, but it is his real-life girl (Katrina Kaif), remains unfazed.

Katrina is Karan Johar’s celebrity guest this week on Sony’s Lift Kara De… and she did ‘lift’ the show.

She is fun, she is sporting and for once she isn’t all that politically correct.

To Karan’s probing questions there were candid answers.

When Karan asked Kat, who are the people who helped the 19-year-old model when she landed in Mumbai without knowing a soul in the city, she said: ‘Salman Khan, his family and friends looked after me’.

After making a not so dream debut Zarine Khan seems to have struck gold. Her resemblance to Katrina Kaif seems to be working in her favour and if grapevine is to be believed she has replaced Katrina from the sequel of the 2007 hit Partner. Zarine Khan remains tight lipped about the project and says it is to early for her to disclose anything. Even film’s director David Dhawan says it is too early to talk about the cast of the movie which is expected to start shooting this year. In an exciting episode in Zee TV’s dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance 2′, Salman outbursted in front of grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty, he stated, “Dada, the press guys are hell-bent on making me accept that Zarine (’Veer’) looks like Katrina and I’m tired of telling them she is not even close to her.”
