Renowned painter M F Hussain has loved Subhash Ghai’s film Yuvvraaj so much that he has offered to make a painting on the movie.

Most likely, like Hussain’s previous muses Madhuri Dixit , Tabu and Amrita Rao , the painter will come up with a portrait of Yuvvraaj’s leading lady Katrina Kaif who looked enchantingly beautiful playing the cello in the movie.

So smitten is Hussain by Ghai’s movie that he has seen it twice and can’t stop praising it.

Often we hear of people who have worked with Salman praising him to heights. But none (presumably) knows the actor better than the gorgeous Katrina Kaif. She knows not just the actor’s strengths but also his weaknesses.

Speaking to a tabloid, Katrina revealed her beau’s biggest weakness.

“He (Salman) likes to act tough but it is so easy to win him over. Anyone who wants to get close to him only has to act defenceless, play the underdog and say, ‘I have no friends and no one loves me’. Bas, Salman will adopt that person,” Katrina is quoted as saying.

Katrina Kaif is infuriated with reports suggesting that Subhash Ghai has signed her for his new directorial venture “Main Yuvraj” on Salman Khan’s recommendation.

“It’s so stupid to think like that, specially now when I have ‘Namaste London’ to my credit. Actually, I met Subhashji long before. He had offered me a film. I think it was ‘Kisna’. Now for ‘Main Yuvraj’ he asked Vipul Shah to show him my work in ‘Namaste London’. That’s how I think he decided on me,” Katrina told IANS.

In an industry where males rule the roost, one is surprised to spot a hoarding with a solo picture of an actress. She is none other than Katrina Kaif. The Yuvvraaj hoarding has only Katrina splashed over it,  while the male leads Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan, for a change have taken a back seat.

An industry source revealed, “Katrina is considered to be a lucky mascot for her directors. Subhash Ghai is confident that Katrina will bring in luck for him too.” Subhash Ghai also feels that a solo hoarding of Katrina is his way of telling her that she has earned her rightful due in the film. “Katrina has done a fabulous job in Yuvvraaj. Ghai has witnessed the dedication with which Katrina has worked in the film. Hence the solo hoarding,” said the source.

Voted as ‘world’s most sexiest woman’ and bollywood’s heartthrob queen, Katrina Kaif is a busy bee nowadays. After giving back to back super hit flicks, this bombshell is gearing up to bombard her fans worldwide with yet another flick, Yuvvraaj. Directed by Subhash Ghai, the movie has some great music given by the combined effort of A.R. Rehman and Gulzar.

In the movie, Katrina plays a woman who’s love interest lies in Salman. But her greatest and deepest love lies in music. That is why Yuvvraaj’s sideline is ‘Music binds Love’.

Subhash Ghai directed, written and produced musical extravaganza Yuvvraaj stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor in the lead. The music has been scored by AR Rehman. The Rs 50 crore budget film is due for release on November 21.

The filming began on 12 September 2007 and was completed on September 15, 2008. The film’s promos debuted with the release of Drona.

Yuvvraaj is Salman’s first film with Subhash Ghai. He plays the role of Deven Yuvvraaj, a chorus singer in an orchestra who needs money to win over his billionaire beloved - a beauty queen, Katrina Kaif.

Katrina Kaif has stopped being coy - about her romance with Salman Khan, commanding a Rs 3 crore paycheck, or doing just glamour doll roles. And while she is at it, she now says she is so ready to win an acting award!

Surprisingly, or perhaps not so surprisingly, Katrina’s change of stance has come during her press interactions to promote Yuvvraaj, the first film to pair Salman and Katrina romantically. The film releases in theatres Friday, November 21.
