Though the hot Kat has been put opposite such formidable talents like Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgn, Naseeruddin Shah and Ranbir Kapoor, she does not feel under-confident before them in any way. In fact, her role requires her to speak in chaste Hindi in the flick and Katrina was all game for it. She not only delivered all her dialogues to perfection but gave complex to those who took her as the one only capable of enacting dumb or glamour doll acts in the movies.

Director Anees Bazmee who has worked with Katrina Kaif in films like WELCOME and SINGH IS KINNG has been let down by Kats this time around.
According to latest reports, Anees Bazmee wanted Katrina to work in his upcoming film THANK YOU, but the actress blocked the dates for Farah Khan’s film TEES MAAR KHAN opposite Akshay Kumar instead.

This breach of trust has not only left Anees Bazmee a bitter man but also in a lurch. Reportedly, the filmmaker has not taken Katrina’s neglect in any good humor and he seems to be in no mood to reconcile to this fact either.

It is said that Akshay Kumar wanted some fresh face this time with him in the upcoming mega venture and hence suggested the name of ‘Delhi 6’ girl Sonam Kapoor.

Hardly had the giggles from their last outing together De Dana Dan died out that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are teaming up yet again to make you laugh in another comedy film to be directed by Anees Bazmee.

Anees, who has been cooling his heels after the successful Singh Is Kinng last year, is presently in the middle of writing his next film ‘Thank You’, a full-on comedy. Reports say he wants to rope in the ‘De Dana Dan’ quartet - Akshay, Katrina, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty - for the film, but Anees himself isn’t willing to confirm the cast except the leading pair.

A five-star hotel in Mumbai has roped in Katrina Kaif for Rs. 2 crore to perform at its New Year’s Eve party.

This is the highest amount an actress has ever been paid to perform at a single show.

Mallika Sherawat started the trend when she took Rs. 90 lakh two years ago for such a performance. Bipasha continued the trend last year.

This year the hotel was in two minds about Katrina and Deepika, but finally zeroed in on Katrina.

Since Deepika has just four films in her kitty with not too many hit songs, except “Om Shanti Om”, the hotel decided on Katrina.
