Ajab prem ki ghazab kahani: Prem’s (Ranbir Kapoor) strategy in life was very simple – be happy, make others happy and keep the town happy. But this supposedly simple strategy usually results in disastrous consequences for Prem, and the members of his Happy Club and the town. It may have been a case of mistaken identity that led Prem to kidnap Jenny (Katrina Kaif).

And it was sheer greed that made Prem try to pull a fast one over her father. As for sweet and simple Jenny,who was adopted and brought up by indifferent and uncaring parents, all she longed was to love and be loved in return. And it was love and only love for Jenny that made Prem turn over a new leaf. From hardly working vagabond Prem began working hard to make money.

From a besotted Romeo, he becomes a mature and thoughtful Majnu who put Jenny’s happiness above everything else.As for Jenny she loves Rahul (Upen Patel).Heartbroken Prem still loves her just as much and does as she says to get her together with Rahul.That’s when she realises that she had made a mistake with realizing who she really loves and has a large decision on who to choose.In the end she chooses Prem as she thinks she loves him and had only liked Rahul.

Katrina Kaif has expressed her gratitude for Anil Kapoor’s advice when shooting the 2005 hit Humko Deewana Kar Gaye.

Kaif claimed that working with well-known actors such as Kapoor had helped to improve her on-screen performances.

She told PTI: “The more films you do you get more experience and then you get to know what you want to do as an actor, what different and special thing in a role or a script you are looking for.

“During the shooting of Humko Deewana Kar Gaye Anil used to tell and teach me as to how concentration and focus are important things in an actor’s career. This is one thing that I will not forget and feel that will flourish my career.”

Kaif will next be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Upen Patel.

The film is scheduled for release on November 6.

Coming up is a movie that’ll test the talents of both its lead stars. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and written by Rajeshwar, Ajab stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Upen Patel.

The dialogue delivery has so far been a trial for Katrina Kaif, who finally has won the right to speak on screen in her own voice despite her thick British accent.

“I don’t know whether I’m getting it right or not. I’m doing the dubbing under supervision. But this is the most difficult film I’ve dubbed for.” Now that she’s almost finished dubbing, she plans to go through the entire dubbing in Santoshi’s film and re-do the portions Santoshi isn’t satisfied with.

For Ranbir, who has a lot of colloquial Hindi to speak, Santoshi has personally been supervising the dubbing. But the actor is reportedly very skilled at dialogue delivery and getting the rustic colloquialism should be a cakewalk.

The Barbie girl of Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif is going to feature with chocolaty hero Ranbir Kapoor in her forthcoming flick “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani”.

This flick by the director Rajkumar Santoshi is wholly for great comedy for the movie goers on the silver screens. The story of the movie has been scripted by the director himself and R. D. Tailang. Tinu Verma is handling the cinematography while Ahmed Khan showed his skills in the choreography. The fabulous tunes of the flick have been performed by Pritam and the movie is produced by the big producer Ramesh S Taurani.

The lead pair has been supported by the actors like macho Upen Patel, Asrani, Smita Jaykar, Navneet Nishan and the great performer Govind Namdeo including others. Most intrestingly the muscle man Salman Khan will be seen in a special appearance in the movie.

This time the serious movie make Rajkumar Santoshi is going to deliver and romantic comedy flick to the fans. Previously, the director has given a lot of good movies to the fans like ‘Pukar’, ‘Lajja’, ‘Ghatak’, ‘Damini’ and many more.

On the other hand the director is also known for his ultimate comedy flick to the film industry like “Andaz Apna Apna”. Most probably this upcoming flick of Rajkumar Santoshi is going to catch the theater on 6th November 2009 “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani”.

Katrina Kaif looked angelic in a white glittery draped dress at the launch of Spice Entertainment, a new venture of the Spice group, at Hotel Trident.

The Spice mobile ambassador’s empire waist dress had cap sleeves, revealing scoop neckline and a veil cascading down her back.

Katrina, 24, accessorized with pearl chandelier earrings. Her gorgeous long hair, styled in loose curls, draped her right shoulder. She wore pearl pink lip color, pink lip gloss, black eyeliner and sweeps of mascara.

The event featured a fashion show by celebrity designer Suneet Verma for which Kangana Ranaut was the show stopper!

In March, Katrina was picked as the first Indian celebrity to have a Barbie doll modeled on her. According to the TOI, a Katrina Barbie will soon feature at Bloomingdale’s Broadway in New York, which is Barbie maker Mattel’s flagship retail partner for Barbie’s 50th anniversary celebration.

“The customized Barbie being made for the American museum will be just like me,” says Katrina.

“I’m thrilled! As a kid I used to play with Barbie dolls — which girl hasn’t? Almost every household has one. It’s every little girl’s dream companion,” she adds.

Perhaps motivated by her deglam role in Rajniti Katrina, 24, has decided to go for minimal make-up look in her new projects. “This is true that I have decided to go for no make-up,” She told DNA.

“It affects your skin badly. I also think that beyond a point it’s unnatural to don heavy make-up all the time,” she added.

Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ has an interesting lead pair of Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie has Ranbir playing the melancholy lover-boy hopelessly in love with the idea of being in love.

The character is somewhat similar to what Ranbir Kapoor played in ‘Mera Naam Joker’ and before him, Chaplin in ‘City Lights’.

Katrina Kaif plays a character that closely resembles what she is in real life- A little lost, a little out of it, credulous, artless and trusting- a girl who believes in the goodness of all things.

The film requires her to be young and trendy.

The film also stars Upen Patel, Darshan Jariwala and Salman Khan (in a special appearance). Directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi and produced by Ramesh S Taurani, the film is slated to be released in the first half of the year 2009.
