Despite the release of the much-hyped Singh Is Kinng round the corner, the hot and happening Katrina Kaif has been maintaining a surprisingly low profile in the media.

According to sources, the real reason is because the Mumbai press are persistent in asking her about the infamous Salman - Shah Rukh spat that took place during her birthday party in Mumbai recently.

So will Katrina do her share of publicity for Singh Is Kinng? She reveals, “I’m a professional and have a big film to talk about. Of course I will. In fact I have a media interaction lined up in a few days for the promotion of Singh Is Kinng”.

Trust Katrina Kaif to be a thorough professional. The actress was down with heavy viral fever during the IIFA awards held in Bangkok recently. The doctors had advised her complete bed rest. The organizers wondered whether Katrina would be able to live up to her commitment and perform live for the event. In fact taking doctor’s advice into consideration the organizers too suggested that Kats should just take it easy and not perform at the show. But Kats just popped in some antibiotics! And was all ready to take on the stage.

Salman, Katrina launch Singh Is Kinng music

The soundtrack of the keenly anticipated film, Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Singh Is Kinng, was released on June 26 at a suburban 5-star pub. The music is marketed by Junglee Music, as their second film score after Welcome. The music is scored by Pritam and the lyrics are by Mayur Puri.
An Indian Films-Studio 18 release, the film is written and directed by Anees Bazmee and stars Akshay Kumar (who is out of the country), Katrina Kaif, Sonu Sood, Neha Dhupia, Om Puri and Sudhanshu Pandey, all of whom were present at the function.

For what seems to be the first time, Katrina Kaif was recently seen shying away from sporting a dance costume, which she found too short for her comfort.While shooting for the title track of Singh is Kinng , which is being choreographed for Remo Fernandez, she had dance steps that required her to bend forward several times. And this made Katrina too conscious.

Sensing that she was uncomfortable in that particular outfit, Remo tried to assure her that the steps would not look vulgar on-screen. Remo said, “Yes, Katrina was apprehensive while doing a particular sequence. I had to cajole her into it because it was a beautiful dance step.”

‘Singh is Kinng’ gets clean chit from Sikh clergy

Mumbai, June 17: Finally Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film ‘Singh is Kinng’ has got a clean chit from Sikh clergy. The film had come under severe attack from the Sikh community over a few shots in the film.

The film that stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif who was most recently proclaimed as the sexiest woman on earth was mired in controversy for some shots that did not go down well with the Sikh community.

Following the complaints a few sequences were reshot and the film was later show to Sikh clergy to get a clean chit from them and also clear their apprehensions abut the film ‘Singh in Kinng’.
