According to latest reports, Anees Bazmee wanted Katrina to work in his upcoming film THANK YOU, but the actress blocked the dates for Farah Khan’s film TEES MAAR KHAN opposite Akshay Kumar instead.

This breach of trust has not only left Anees Bazmee a bitter man but also in a lurch. Reportedly, the filmmaker has not taken Katrina’s neglect in any good humor and he seems to be in no mood to reconcile to this fact either.

Bollywood’s hit onscreen couple Katrina Kaif and Akshay Khiladi Kumar got wet for a rain dance number in the slapstick comedy De Dana Dan. The sexy song was initially not there for the movie-goers to enjoy and now has been added.

The film hasn’t performed as well as expected.

So, maybe it’s a last ditch effort to save the movie and draw Kat- Kumar fans towards the theatres. Trade pundits say the romantic number Gale Lag Ja could add spice and direction to the ‘rudderless’ film.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is down with jaundice and missing from the promotions for her latest outing “De Dana Dan”. And her co-star Akshay Kumar was prompt in wishing her speedy recovery.

Rumours were rife that the actress was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai Monday night, where she was diagnosed with jaundice and has been advised complete bed rest for a while.

Asked if it were true, Akshay said: “Katrina is down with jaundice… We are missing her and hope she gets well soon.”

Hardly had the giggles from their last outing together De Dana Dan died out that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are teaming up yet again to make you laugh in another comedy film to be directed by Anees Bazmee.

Anees, who has been cooling his heels after the successful Singh Is Kinng last year, is presently in the middle of writing his next film ‘Thank You’, a full-on comedy. Reports say he wants to rope in the ‘De Dana Dan’ quartet – Akshay, Katrina, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty – for the film, but Anees himself isn’t willing to confirm the cast except the leading pair.
