Director Vipul Shah is creating a sequel to his movie ‘Singh is King’, which according to critics proved to be an average movie. Shah has roped in two famed actors of the Bollywood industry, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, for Singh is King 2, as he felt that it was necessary for both to be present in the much awaited sequel. Apparently, SIK2 will be created on a larger scale than SIK, with the script already written to start shooting.

Bollywood’s two leading actors make the most popular pair of today. They have a marvelous onscreen chemistry, and have already delivered three hits out of four films that they have done together. Both started together in the likes of ‘Namaste London’, ‘Welcome’ and then ‘Singh is King’, all under the banner of Vipul Shah. However, the pair will now be seen on the silver screen in Venus Records and Tapes’ owner Ratan Jain’s next multi-starrer titled ‘De Dana Dan’. This is going to be a comedy with a huge cast of seniors including great comedian Paresh Rawal, pretty girls - Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy- and also the tinsel town’s macho man Sunil Shetty! However, Priyadarshan will direct this time as he is known for laughter riot movies.

American rapper Snoop Dogg has recorded a song for Singh Is Kinng .

However, the recently adjudged ‘world’s sexiest woman’ Katrina Kaif may not strut her sexy stuff in the song’s video. The hip-hop number by Dogg and RDB might just end up an all-male affair (yawn) featuring the leading star Akshay Kumar with Snoop Dogg and RDB singers.

Both Katrina and Akshay have heard the song and can’t stop singing its praises.

While Akshay calls it a “mind-blowing number”, Katrina believes it is the “first real hip-hop song” yet in Hindi films.
