As usual Salman Khan was absent from the promotional events surrounding his latest movie Heroes that hits theatres this weekend.

Though his co-stars Sohail Khan, Sharman Joshi, Amrita Arora and Gul Panag have been busy promoting the film through the week, Salman has preferred to be behind the scenes on the marketing front

“My job is acting. People, fans know what to expect from a film, they will go and see it. I don’t believe in promoting a film,” says Salman.

Apart from the movie, it is Salman’s romantic life that keeps the gossip mills active. Latest buzz is about his impending split from girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

’HELLO’, AN interesting movie that asks us to probe what lies beneath us, is yet another good Friday dose. This movie is based on an international bestseller ‘One Night at a Call Centre’, by Chetan Bhagat. The story begins with the pomp and splendour of Salman Khan, whose chopper gets delayed post a show. While waiting in the lobby, there occurs a sudden appearance of Katrina Kaif, who claims that she’ll tell a story to kill boredom during the wait, only if he makes a movie on it. What makes Khan buy the deal was the idea of God involved within the story line.

Off screen Salman and Katrina are a hit pair. But on screen the two have not yet managed to light up the silver screen. And now after a gap of three years Kaif and Khan will be seen romancing each other in Subhash Ghai’s Yuvvraaj.

Post their first on screen pairing in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, the two have stayed away from pairing up in films even though they got together in real life. Partner followed after a couple of years but the film saw Katrina in love with Govinda instead. Before Yuvvraaj they will be seen in Hello but yet again the two aren’t paired together. Katrina plays God in Hello while Salman makes a cameo.

The rumor mill is busy churning and what we get to hear is that Salman is planning to get engaged to long time girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Since the time he declared his plans of getting married next year on his show Dus Ka Dum, people have been anticipating some more news on that.

It is said that Katrina after first denying Salman’s proposal, finally said yes. They will get engaged to each other soon. It will be a very small family affair with a concise guest list (that would not include Shahrukh Khan and his allies).

Destroying all the talk of she being thrown out of Shah Rukh Khan’s Temptations Reloaded World Tour after the relationship of Salman and Shah Rukh went sour at her birthday party and Salman Khan not allowing her to be part of any film having his rivals, Katrina Kaif has shown that she is a hardcore professional.

Katrina has gone ahead and agreed for a Yashraj flick having SRK in the lead role.

The untitled movie to be directed by Yash Chopra also has John Abraham in a prominent role.

Today when i was surfing the internet for the latest happenings in bollywood, well suddenly to my surprise I saw someone with Katrina, well when I enlarge the picture it was none other than our Salman Khan and that too with thick hair. The event was the music launch of Katrina’s upcoming movie “Singh Is King” with Akshay Kumar.
Out of all the main attraction was surely Salman, as he was looking quite handsome as he used to look in his older days. What has Salman done with his hair ??? Is he wearing wig or has tried some hair treatment ?? All these questions must be arising in your minds after looking at pictures and it should arise as last time we saw him almost bald and now with thick hair. Salman has been mending some old fences lately. Those who thought Sallu could never get friendly with Abhishek Bachchan – the husband of Sallu’s ex-flame Aishwarya Rai – were proved wrong when Salman met Abhishek recently in the latter’s vanity van and had a chat for about half-an-hour.

Not only did Salman and Abhishek get along well, Sallu even promised to make a painting of Abhi in his Drona makeover.

The superstar hopes to complete the painting before the film’s release on October 2.
