Or may be her close friend Salman Khan, who in his own way has touched many a hearts with his good work, of helping those in need…could he be Katrina’s inspiration? There’s a very different side to the young and pretty Katrina which is kept under wraps, a well kept secret, that will be revealed on India’s Glam Diva, a platform that will bring the most ravishing, talented and deserving divas to the fore.

Admitting that she has been over-worked and over-exposed, Katrina Kaif has decided to take it easy for a while.

It was expected that Katrina wouldn’t be left in peace on the sets of Ek Tha Tiger, especially so since she is working opposite Salman Khan in the Kabir Khan-directed venture. But Katrina has kept such a low profile that nothing has been forthcoming from that end.

Sources on the sets say Kat has immersed herself in work, and hardly mingles with people around her. What’s more, she will try and wrap up the shoot early, so she can set off on a much-delayed vacation.

“She has been planning a holiday with her sisters for a while now, but it has never worked out. She is now looking forward to it though,”

She has even decided on a complete break from the media. “She was upset over speculations that she is back with Salman. She confided in a friend about these misgivings of hers,” a source says.

“But having insisted on a complete break from the media, she is content playing the suspense game.”

Katrina Kaif has come to the rescue of her rakhi brother Arjun Kapoor and has offered to do an item number for his debut film Ishaqzaade.

Arjun Kapoor, who is the son of Boney and Mona Kapoor was supposed to make his debut with Yash Raj Films’ Virus Diwan. As per sources, Katrina began to get worried when the project was delayed. However, things fell in place when YRF decided to make Ishaqzaade with Arjun playing the lead role. The film will be directed by Habib Faisal.

Katrina Kaif was apparently thrilled and wanted to be involved in some way in her little brother’s debut film. As per sources, the YRF has somehow decided to accommodate an item number in Ishaqzaade to keep Kat happy.

Katrina Kaif has always been very fond of Arjun Kapoor. Arjun, who was reportedly dating Katrina’s ex boyfriend Salman Khan’s little sister Arpita Khan looked up to Kat as his big sister. So even when Arjun broke up with Arpita, Katrina continued to keep in touch with Arjun.

Katrina Kaif is shooting for Yashraj’s Ek Tha Tiger, but she’s also concentrating on her look for Dhoom 3, and guess who is her guide this time? None other than her best friend Salman Khan!

Thankfully, Katrina is not out of shape, but workouts are still essential for her as she is the hot chic of Dhoom 3, and the onus of raising the oomph quotient of the film lies on her tender shoulders. Ever since she has been confirmed for the film, much has been said about her donning a bikini. While there’s no confirmation about Kat sporting a two-piece, sources claim that she will definitely be seen showing off her hot body in the film.

“She may or may not be wearing a bikini, but she will need to look her toned best, as the franchise is high on the ultra-glam looks of the actors as well,” the source is quoted as saying by a tabloid.

So, what Salman Khan has to suggest her? As Katrina is shooting with Salman, the actor is in continuous touch with her. It’s said that Salman has advised Katrina to cycle and swim regularly to tone up without hitting the gym to get that fit fab body.

Dhoom 3 has Aamir Khan playing the baddie. The third instalment of the series would go on floors by December 2011 and is planned for a Christmas 2012 release.

Ever since actor Katrina Kaif has been confirmed for Dhoom 3, there has been much speculation about her donning a bikini for the film, as had the actresses in the previous two installments. But while, there’s no confirmation about Kat sporting the bikini avatar, insiders do reveal that she will definitely be seen showing off her a super-toned hotbod in the film. Katrina is well aware of it, but since she has been rushing from one film to another, she has little or no time left to actually concentrate on her work-outs.

According to a source, Katrina has been so busy that she has not even had time to enjoy the successes of her own recent films including Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

“She has been shooting back to back since the past several months now. But her role in Dhoom 3 requires her to look her fittest best and so she’s started working out during her outdoor schedules itself,” says the source.

However, an insider reveals that she is into light exercising and not heavy training. “Katrina wants to tone up her body for Dhoom 3, and luckily for her she is already in good shape. She anyways hates vigorous workouts or starving herself to acquire a lean body or look sexy, so she is just exercising regularly and going in for a healthy diet instead.”

The B-Town hottie had apparently started to work on her bod right when she was shooting with Salman Khan for Ek Tha Tiger in Dublin. “There too she would exercise regularly, eat loads of fruits on time, instead of starving herself and she has also been drinking a lot of water. She is trying her best to catch up on sleep as well,” informs the source, adding that apparently she has also been getting a lot of tips from Salman on the same. “Yes, Salman has advised Katrina to cycle and swim to tone up without hitting the gym to get an overall lean and well-toned body,” says the source.

According to an insider, “From now to that film, she is unlikely to get any time off for herself anyway, as soon after she wraps up Ek Tha Tiger, she’s expected to begin work on her film with Shah Rukh Khan,” says a source.

Interestingly, the film — which also stars Aamir Khan as the baddie — will be her fifth movie with Aditya Chopra’s production house.

“She’s become quite a favourite with the production house as she’s been signed on for four back-to-back films with them. Her professionalism of not letting her personal life interfere with her professional one is what seems to work in her favour too,” says an industry observer.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, who are in Turkey, shooting for Ek Tha Tiger are safe. More than 200 people died and 1,000 were injured in the 7.2 magnitude quake in Turkey.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were busy shooting for Ek Tha Tiger in Istanbul. However, the duo are safe as the earthquake struck Van, which is far away from the place they were shooting. Salman Khan, who was in India for two days to shoot for Bigg Boss 5 landed in Turkey on Sunday morning, which is when the earthquake hit Turkey.

After shooting in Turkey for two months, Salman will apparently fly to Iraq where there will be extensive shooting for the film Ek Tha Tiger. As per sources, certain portions of the film will be shot in the northern border of Iraq and other middle east countries.

Ek Tha Tiger, a spy thriller is slated to be an Eid release and is being shot in five countries. Speaking to a leading website, a source revealed that the action sequence in Ek Tha Tiger will be different from that of Bodyguard and Dabangg and will be more on the lines of Bourne Identity.

Professionally this could well be actress Katrina Kaif’s best phase as she has her hands full with projects with practically every actor in the industry.

The actress has signed a lot of films and is on an absolute roll but she hasn’t taken a break since a very long time.

Katrina is a self-proclaimed workaholic and takes pride in being one as well. She has been shooting for her projects back-to-back since the past few months, even as people around her have been asking her to take it easy.

A source close to her says, “Kat is very professional when it comes to her film commitments and is particular that she doesn’t upset any schedules. There have been times when she has gone out of her way to accommodate her dates for a particular film. She has been wanting to go to London and spend time with her sisters and family but then she hasn’t been able to find time for that at all.”

The source also adds that Kat who after completing the promotions of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, flew to Bangkok for an ad shoot on the same day. After that she returned and immediately headed for her next movie shoot to Dublin. It isn’t just this year that the actress is flooded with work, she has three big releases next year with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, one of which she is currently shooting for in Dublin.

Katrina Kaif, who is doing Ek Tha Tiger opposite her ex boyfriend Salman Khan is apparently trying hard to convince Salman to to make a sequel to the comic film Partner. Salman Khan is already doing a couple of sequels – Dabangg, Tere Naam, Wanted.

Though Katrina and Salman’s last film Yuvraaj that released in 2008 failed miserably at the box office, the two are very positive of Ek Tha Tiger. Almost all of Sallu’s recent films have turned out to be blockbusters. Katrina too is going through a very positive phase in her life. Moreover, as per sources, Kat and Sallu get along extremely well on the sets of Ek Tha Tiger and are extremely comfortable with each other. Both are apparently very protective of each other post their breakup.

Ex-lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are still inseparable. The couple might have broken up, but whenever Katrina needs help she always turns to Salman.

On her recent visit to London, when Katrina had trouble reaching her hotel before the premiere of her film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, her ex beau-cum-best friend saved her day.

Problems started for Katrina after she landed in London from Abu Dhabi, where she had to attend a promotional event first.

The half-hour drive extended to one-and-half hours and Katrina had no idea how far was she from the hotel.

A source explained, “The driver of the car organised for her by Yash Raj Films turned out to be a novice who didn’t know the roads well enough. After being driven around for an hour and a half, Katrina got so irritated that she called for a taxi service. And while waiting for the other cab to arrive, she also called Salman to apprise him of her situation.” The actor was shooting for Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger at that time.

Soon after the other taxi arrived, Katrina hauled her luggage and headed straight to a hotel in South Kensington, where Salman was staying, revealed the source. She requested Salman to organise a car for her with a chauffeur who knew the roads well.

It is learnt that when she reached her hotel later, the representatives of YRF were profusely apologetic for the inconvenience caused to her.

“But Katrina had had enough and she was so upset that she didn’t want to use any transport being arranged by YRF for her to get to the premiere venue,” the source added further.

Unfortunately for Katrina, her troubles didn’t end there. It seems the team of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan reached over an hour late for the premiere. And also, the premiere didn’t go as well as they expected.

“Maybe it wasn’t promoted very well, so naturally the movie’s team was surprised that the crowd wasn’t as huge as they had anticipated. Since they had reached late, they couldn’t spend much time at the venue either because they had to catch a flight to Mumbai,” the source informed.

However, by the time Katrina reached the airport, the check-in counters for her return flight had closed. “Obviously, she wasn’t too pleased with the way her day was going,” the source said, adding that fortunately for her, help came in the form of her co-actor Imran Khan.

“Although he was returning by another airline, Imran helped Katrina secure a reservation on Oman Air, with a stop-over at Muscat,” the source added.
