The director, Milap Zaveri had to drop his plans of studding stars in his forthcoming debut film, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai.

He had announced his plans to line up certain superstars like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan and Anushka Sharma for a few shots in his romantic fantasy , love story of an alien. The chaos had to revolve around Riteish Deshmukh and Ruslaan Mumtaz who are playing an assistant director and a superstar respectively.

The buzz over Bollywood this morning is that Katrina Kaif, India’s hottest female celebrity, will take the lead role in the upcoming sequel to Dostana. According to some reports Katarina got the nod for the role in Dostana 2 over Priyanka Chopra because of her popularity on the Internet. Kaif, who we have covered before, is the most searched female celebrity, and evidently Dharma Productions is looking for fresh talent and to capitalize on trends as well.

After Priyanka Chopra oozing loads of glamour in Karan Johar’s ‘Dostana’, it will be Katrina Kaif who will exude oomph in the sequel to the film. Where ‘Dostana’ had Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham vying for Priyanka Chopra’s attention, the sequle will have two add-ons in the form of Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade playing a real gay couple.

Katrina was chosen to play the female after Dharma Productions has auditioned dozens of new girls. Katrina came into picture due to her fresh and pretty face and her growing popularity bar.

Katrina at a recent press meet, announced that she doesn’t need to wear a short skirt or show her legs to get audiences to go for her film or to love her. Apparently, she was taking a dig at Kareena, who donned a bathing suit in her latest movie Kambakkht Ishq.

Tell her that she too has recently topped a poll for the Sexiest Asian Woman… and Kat says, “I think it was Race that tilted the scale. My fans saw a different Katrina and they liked her. But I think here people vote for who they like as opposed to the west where they are governed by the definition of the word.

Another foreign lady is going to enter Katrina Kaif’s sandals and is expected to sweep Bollywood. Here’s Jacqueline Fernandez, the former Miss Sri Lanka.

She is making her debut in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Aladin’ which has impressive star cast like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Riteish Deshmukh. Jacqueline, who is playin the role of Jasmine in this big project, revealed excitedly, “I have been waiting for a break like this. But I have to admit that while I was studying in Australia, I wanted to be a Hollywood actress. I never thought about Hindi films. When I came to India for a modelling assignment, I was fascinated by Bollywood and then things started working in my favour and I got ‘Aladin’. Now I’m here to stay.” She said she has  Nikhil Advani’s ‘Jaane Kahan Aaye Hai’, again with Riteish in her kitty already.
