After sharing screen space in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti, the superhit jodi would reportedly pair together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s next, reports Mumbai Mirror.

The director wants to team up with his Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani star Katrina Kaif for his new film with Ashtavinayak. He recently inked the deal with the production house for the comic caper.

The filmmaker is however known for announcing projects that never see light of day. “But he and the producers are keen that this project rolls by the year-end. He tasted success with Ajab Prem… after his last few films did not do well. Due to which he is keen to make a film with Katrina again who is a lucky mascot for him” says a source.

Is Katrina Kaif & Salman Khan split ?: As per the insiders the trouble began early this year in January, at Salman’s birthday bash at his Panvel farmhouse. The actor had reportedly pushed Katrina aside when she tried to stop him from drinking excessively. It was said that Salman was not too happy with her on-screen chemistry with Akshay Kumar, visible in Namastey London. Then recently, Salman expressed his ire at her signing a film with Rajkumar Santoshi opposite Shahid Kapur, who he cannot stand.
To top it, the actor is also believed to be quite upset at the promos of Firoz Nadiadwala’s Welcome and is believed to have asked him to change it. He did not like the fact that Katrina was shown wearing short skirts in the promo. Nadiadwala is believed to have immediately spoken to Katrina in Australia and she told him to continue with the promos. Katrina is naturally not very happy at his interference in her career, even though it is true that Salman facilitated her entry into Bollywood.

Tips Films Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is no 9 on PLANET M charts

The songs from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani are already on their way to topping the charts. The official PLANET M records state that ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ is on the number 9 position in spite of just entering the charts a week ago.

A source from the label confirms “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani CD’s have not yet reached all zones in India as they were released just a week ago on the 9th October. This is very good news that the film’s music is doing so well even when it has entered the charts just recently. The album has a mix of fun songs, dance numbers and romantic melodies.”

Katrina Kaif has expressed her gratitude for Anil Kapoor’s advice when shooting the 2005 hit Humko Deewana Kar Gaye.

Kaif claimed that working with well-known actors such as Kapoor had helped to improve her on-screen performances.

She told PTI: “The more films you do you get more experience and then you get to know what you want to do as an actor, what different and special thing in a role or a script you are looking for.
