Bollywood is famous for its cat fights. And what can be spicier than two beautiful divas Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, contesting against each other to be Sharman Joshi’s wife. Joshi has warmed up and is all set to potray a husband’s role in his upcoming film “Ferrari ki sawaari”. Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani are too occupied these days with the hunt for the on screen bride for Joshi. Decisions have not been finalised yet, about whom to cast in the film, to play the wife’s role, which is a very significant character in the film.

Kareena and Sharman have acted together in “3 idiots”, which was a monster hit and the biggest bollywood hit overseas. They are good friends. On the other hand, Katrina and Sharman have not shared screen space yet.

These two actresses from the very first beginning had a silent war going on in between them. This role has added fuel to the fire. Both these leading actresses are always tussling for the industry’s most coveted number one position.

Hopefully, this war will end soon, and any one among the two will bag this role,smiling victoriously. Let the stars fight, we the audience till then will sit at home, with our eyes glued to television screens and film magazines to taste the delicacy of the juicy star war.

The industry is abuzz that it was none other than Aamir Khan, the perfectionist super star of bollywood playing the main lead in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘3 Idiots’ opposite Kareena Kapoor, who caused the ouster of the trailer of Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Rajneeti’ from the interval slot of ‘3 Idiots’.

Sources close to Aamir Khan say that he never likes to share the limelight with anyone else be it an individual or trailer of Prakash Jha’s ‘Rajneeti’. In this case, Aamir Khan felt that as ‘Rajneeti’ starred latest heartthrobs Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, it would take the focus away from ‘3 Idiots,’ and so it was better to remove the trailer altogether from interval slot.

Earlier, Aamir Khan was only apprehensive but when he saw the reaction of a select gathering at the private preview of ‘3 idiots’ talking about ‘Rajneeti’, he did not waste any time and asked producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra to remove the trailer immediately. R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi also play important roles in ‘3 Idiots’.

The industry watchers are not surprised at Aamir Khan’s behavior towards ‘Rajneeti’ as they point out that it only confirms to his perfectionist nature. Here, its not that Aamir Khan is not sure of ‘3 Idiots’ success or something like that. In fact, its Aamir Khan’s basic nature not to leave any stone unturned in any venture that he undertakes, is at play in the ouster of ‘Rajneeti’s trailer.

Another theory doing the rounds in the industry is that it was fickle nature of producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra that had caused the removal of Prakash Jha’s ‘Rajneeti’ from ‘3 Idiots’ interval slot.

The second theory takes its credence from the fact that Prakash Jha and Vidhu Vinod Chopra were classmates at FTII, and since then have known each other. But Jha accused Vidhu of being like this from the very beginning. In fact, Jha says that Vidhu would say one thing at one point of time and then would change it without any reason or rhyme.

However, the overseas prints of ‘3 Idiots’, which have already been sent, will continue to show the trailer of ‘Rajneeti’, as the removal from them is difficult. But the prints of ‘3 Idiots’, which are being sent now (mainly in India), will not have ‘Rajneeti’ trailer for interval slot.

‘Rajneeti’ stars Ajay Devgn, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. Katrina Kaif plays the character of a deglamourized politician (modeled on Sonia Gandhi), while Ranbir Kapoor plays the part of a young politician. It has been directed by Prakash Jha of ‘Gangajal’ fame.

Akshay Kumar, the handsome Khiladi of bollywood who plays lead opposite sizzling hot bollywood babe Katrina Kaif in Priyadarshan’s upcoming flick ‘De Dana Dan’, is crazy about her love interest in the film.
However, the catch is that Akshay Kumar’s character does not have enough money to impress and win the love of gorgeous beauty and hence takes to crime. Akshay Kumar’s craze about his romantic opposite can be guessed after having a look at his sizzling rain dance sequence with Katrina in the film.

Currently, the filmmakers are promoting the flick through this song on television screens and it has already created buzz among the audiences. The flick also has Sunil Shetty, who had teamed up with Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan in other comic flicks earlier. The movie is due for a world wide release on November 27.

Though the promos of Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif’s sizzling rain song has been receiving great response from the public, but Akki was in great pain when the song had been canned by the director Priyadarshan at some exotic location.

Sources say that at the time of shooting, Akshay Kumar had been suffering from high fever and hence was not in the best of moods to give the shot. In fact, the passion shown on the celluloid between the love birds—Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar—is severe pain.

However, the rain song has come out beautifully on the screen and is already being compared with Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor rain song shot elaborately in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming flick ‘3 Idiots’. Aamir had reduced his muscles (of ‘Ghajini’ fame) to look suitable for a college romance with Kareena Kapoor.

Another reason for strong buzz in favor of Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar is their past record at the box office in films like –‘Welcome’, ‘Namaste London’, ‘Singh Is Kinng’ etc. In fact, whenever Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were paired in a flick, they created magic at the box office and the movie proved to be a big success.

Perhaps keeping this in mind, even ace director Farah Khan, who recently signed Akshay Kumar for her upcoming flick ‘Tees Maar Khan’, has decided to sign on Katrina Kaif for her next flick. Sources say that Farah was very impressed with the sizzling chemistry that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have on the screen and so decided to discard her favorite Deepika Padukone in favor of Katrina opposite Akshay.

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif may be a rocking pair on screen for the Farah’s flick, but this will certainly make the relations between Farah and Shah Rukh Khan unworkable. The grapevine is abuzz that Farah chose Akshay in place of Shah Rukh due to latter’s delaying tactics in regard to her upcoming flick ‘Happy New Year’, and this casting of Katrina might prove to be the last nail in the coffin of their friendship.
