Katrina Kaif, who is doing Ek Tha Tiger opposite her ex boyfriend Salman Khan is apparently trying hard to convince Salman to to make a sequel to the comic film Partner. Salman Khan is already doing a couple of sequels – Dabangg, Tere Naam, Wanted.

Though Katrina and Salman’s last film Yuvraaj that released in 2008 failed miserably at the box office, the two are very positive of Ek Tha Tiger. Almost all of Sallu’s recent films have turned out to be blockbusters. Katrina too is going through a very positive phase in her life. Moreover, as per sources, Kat and Sallu get along extremely well on the sets of Ek Tha Tiger and are extremely comfortable with each other. Both are apparently very protective of each other post their breakup.

Wonder if Katrina has any plans to patch up with Salman? What do you think guys?

Partner of Salman Khan (rather ex partner) Katrina Kaif has worked with dozens of actors from Akshay Kumar to Imran Khan to Salman to Ranbir but she has never rubbed shoulders with the perfectionist Aamir Khan.

However, this time there is a good chance that she may find herself romancing Aamir Khan (not in real life though) on reel. Aamir has, as you must be aware by now, signed a film by Reema Kagti which shall be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

While the reports are flying thick and fast about the casting of Kareena Kapoor for the female lead, the hunt is still on for a 2nd female lead (after all, the film has two lead actresses). And some whispers suggest that Katrina Kaif may be taken aboard if all goes well.

Initially, Aamir gave his approval towards Kareena as he felt that Kareena is extremely talented and versatile. And now for the 2nd actress, the bosses are eyeing Katrina even as images of Deepika Padukone keep flickering in.

Though, the official announcement is still awaited and things still to transpire, we wait with baited breath to see the actual composition of the film (Aamir, Kareena and Katrina would be explosive).

The film, a suspense thriller, is slated to go on floors on February, 2011 and hence, within a few days, we should know who’s in and who’s not!

Abu Dhabi based carrier Etihad Airways has signed Indian film actress Katrina Kaif, as its new brand ambassador, the airline announced earlier this week.

Etihad Airways and Katrina Kaif will work on a series of initiatives to promote the airline across India and around the world, including addressing Indian communities in Etihad Airways’ key markets such as the UAE, the US and the UK, the carrier said in a statement on Wednesday.

Katrina Kaif is one of India’s most successful actresses in recent times, having delivered hits like ‘Namastey London’, ‘Partner’, ‘Singh is King’ and ‘Rajneeti’.

Katrina stated that “Salman had been always there, more than anything to guide because I didn’t know anything about the industry.”

“What would remain special in my mind is that from the very beginning Salman told me that I will achieve this success in the industry. And at that point it was too far off.”

Katz made her debut in Bollywood with Boom in 2003. She gave her first hit in 2005 with “Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya”.

After making a not so dream debut Zarine Khan seems to have struck gold. Her resemblance to Katrina Kaif seems to be working in her favour and if grapevine is to be believed she has replaced Katrina from the sequel of the 2007 hit Partner. The year 2009 was one of the busiest years for the cute and sexy babe of bollywood Katrina Kaif. With reports coming in for her role in the sequel of Don and the Akshay Kumar starrer under Farha Khan’s direction ‘Tees Maar Khan’, things are not yet assured on those fronts. Even reports of her being replaced by her look alike new comer Zarine Khan in films like sequel of ‘Partner’ and ‘Veer’ are running thick and fast.
But according to close sources Katrina has her kitty full of films lined up for the year but she is taking things one at a time. She does not want to rush into things that much as the last four years in the industry has kept her very busy. Thus, one is compelled to ask, is this Aamir Khan effect to handle one project at a time? Well, maybe, with our bollywood stars and their minds running 24 hours non stop anything is possible!

A five-star hotel in Mumbai has roped in Katrina Kaif for Rs. 2 crore to perform at its New Year’s Eve party.

This is the highest amount an actress has ever been paid to perform at a single show.

Mallika Sherawat started the trend when she took Rs. 90 lakh two years ago for such a performance. Bipasha continued the trend last year.

This year the hotel was in two minds about Katrina and Deepika, but finally zeroed in on Katrina.

Since Deepika has just four films in her kitty with not too many hit songs, except “Om Shanti Om”, the hotel decided on Katrina.

Katrina will be performing on the hit numbers from her films “Singh is Kinng”, “Partner”, “Welcome” and “Maine Pyaar Kyon Kiya”.
