Once bitten twice shy – that’s Katrina Kaif for you. The scene in Kabir Khan’s New York, where she kissed her co-star, still seems to haunt her. Now, she has declared loud and clear that she wouldn’t kiss or wear bikini in the future.

Sources said that Katrina turned down the demands of the directors, who were very keen to see her kiss her co-stars. She is a conservative at heart, and so she cunningly refused to bow down to the directors’ cliché statement ’script demands it’. Sources also said that she has made it clear to producer Karan Johar and director Tarun Mansukhani that she wouldn’t do kissing and bikini scenes in Dostana 2.

A source tells us, ‘Katrina Kaif had New York, Blue, Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani and De Dana Dan as her releases in 2009, out of which Ajab and New York were big hits. She was nominated for her natural performance in New York but Vidya Balan beat her to it in the Critics’ category. Katz felt it unfair that her achievement, that of maximum hits in one year, was going unrecognized. She was scheduled to perform for the televised version of the event but she was upset and felt left out.’

Bollywood’s ‘most-searched’ star Katrina Kaif has decided to be particular about the films she will do henceforth.
“Katrina does not want to upset her fans. She will now only do films she believes in and roles that interest her,” said a source close to the actress, who was voted the “Sexiest Actress” by London Eastern Eye and featured second on the “Top Online Newsmaker of 2009″ list by Yahoo.
Katrina has branched out into different sorts of roles and this year she will be seen in Rajniti where she plays an ordinary woman battling corruption who goes on to become the chief minister of the state.
“Katrina is also getting choosy with the stars she wants to work with,” the source said.
2009 was a fairly good year for the actress who featured in movies like New York, De Dana Dan and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Two straight guys pretending as gays will now have a crush on Bollywood’s most desirable woman - Katrina Kaif. The cute gal has been finalized for the sequel to Dostana which had Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham as two heterosexual men playing homos due to unavoidable circumstances.

Since Priyanka Chopra walked out hand in hand with Bobby Deol at the end of the first movie, she obviously can’t play a central role in the sequel. However, director Tarun Mansukhani, who’s very fond of the actress, has decided to include a cameo for PC in the sequel’s script.

Katrina Kaif and Rahul Gandhi have emerged as India’s most eligible single woman and man in a poll conducted by a wedding portal.

While Gandhi polled 30 per cent votes, Katrina was preferred by 27.5 per cent respondents.

“It surely feels nice to top such a poll. I really hope I will not remain single forever,” smiled Kaif, while reacting to the outcome of the poll by BharatMatrimony. com. She beat Vidya Balan (22.7 per cent votes), Priyanka Chopra (18.7 per cent) and Deepika Padukone (13.3 per cent) to wrest the top spot.

Katrina Kaif, who was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai early this week and underwent a surgery, has now been discharged.

Katrina’s official spokesperson confirmed the same but refused to elaborate further on the cause of hospitalization. “She’s been advised complete bed rest for now,” her spokesperson added.

What the young Bollywood star is suffering from is not yet known. The actress had been advised complete bed rest earlier as she was unwell a month ago but yet she was seen making intermittent public appearances at a wedding and the Triumph lingerie show in the past fortnight.
