Bollywood lissom lass Katrina Kaif is all set to team up with India’s most celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra for ‘Dostana 2’.

Katrina Kaif had a long standing relationship with Rocky S, however, with ‘Dostana 2’, it will be the first time when Manish Malhotra decks the actress with his chic and glossy ensembles. Meanwhile, with Katrina finally replacing Priyanka in ‘Dostana 2’, the movie is believed to be high on glam quotient.

It has taken seven years for superstar Katrina Kaif to team with fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Strange but true as for the first time ever, Kat will be dolled up by Manish in a film.

All they wanted was to take Dostana enterprise to the next level with sexy locales and oodles of oomph. After all, it’s the ravishing Kat for them. But the real bummer came in the shape of the actress’ contractual clause with no-kissing and no-exposure mentioned in it.

Whatever the producer, director and stylist respectively come up with, they realise has been done before with Priyanka Chopra in Dostana… right from beachwear to sarees. Dostana 2 moves completely away from Miami and shifts to London. That’s another issue. London has been done to death by Bollywood. Practically every second film from Vivek Agnihotri’s Goal to Abbas Tyrewala’s been shot there. There is not a spot in London that Indian moviegoers aren’t familiar with.

Salman Khan may not want to see his girlfriend Katrina Kaif in skimpy clothes but the actress is likely to wear a bikini if the latest news is to be believed. The news is doing the rounds that she would be seen in a sexy avatar in Dostana 2 to be produced by Dharma Production.

Priyanka Chopra, who acted in the original Dostana, wore a swimsuit. So, it has become inevitable for Katrina to wear the two-piece cloth. It is said that designer Manish Malhotra would design the beachwear for the actress for two scenes in the Dostana sequel.

Bollywood’s first true-‘blue’ deep-sea adventure film Blue has been in news for both security and insecurity reasons relating to international singing sensation Kylie Minogue. Firstly it was Kylie’s security handled by television actor Ronit Roy that was making news. Then there were reports that costars Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif were insecure of Kylie’s presence in the film that could overshadow the Indian leading ladies.

Director Anthony D’Souza nonchalantly brushes off the rumours. “How can that be true? There is a song in the film where Kylie shares the screen with both the leading ladies Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif. If they were insecure, why would they have agreed to feature in the song?”
