The latest news from the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif camp is that the hit Jodi of 2009 have now been signed for the magic to be recreated on screen in the film titled ‘Rockstar’ by none other than director Imtiaz Ali. After making ‘Jab We Met’ with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone this film maker has caught the bull by the horns by tagging in the most romantic and successful jodi on screen in the year gone by.
There are news flying around that since the two that is Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir had been negotiating on working together since quite sometime, it was only this script of ‘Rockstar’ that Ranbir found interesting enough to work on, thus it was finalized. What is interesting is that Saif Ali Khan who is anyway a Rockstar with his guitar strumming and all that was very much interested in doing the film, hence he was practicing for the part since 2008. Even Shahid had an eye on that one and was on the verge of learning to strum the guitar for the role.
