Sharman Joshi has whooped it up in the comedy genre. He now wants to try out a variety of roles

If there is one actor who will never undermine the significance of multi-starrers, it is Sharman Joshi. After playing the role of the affable Sukhi in Rang De Basanti, and the over-ambitious Rahul in Life in a Metro, he now plays Shyam Varma, a call centre employee in Hello. Joshi who has worked with industry bigwigs right from his debut film Godmother, is gung-ho about sharing screen space with some of Bollywood’s best yet again, that include Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

One Night @ Call Centre by Chetan Bhagat is an interesting read with every character well defined by the author. It begins with the author meeting a co-passenger in his train compartment, builds up with the six main characters in the call centre and dwells well on Bakshi, the man in charge of Connexions, the Call Centre the six are working in. It then moves on to the all-important call from God and His conversation with them especially regarding Bakshi, which makes them sit up and take notice and turn things around in their favour.
