After making a not so dream debut Zarine Khan seems to have struck gold. Her resemblance to Katrina Kaif seems to be working in her favour and if grapevine is to be believed she has replaced Katrina from the sequel of the 2007 hit Partner. The David Dhawan directed movie stared Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Govinda and Lara Dutta.

Zarine Khan remains tight lipped about the project and says it is to early for her to disclose anything. Even film’s director David Dhawan says it is too early to talk about the cast of the movie which is expected to start shooting this year. Well, Zarine Khan will be on Cloud Nine and why not as not every body double gets a leading role in Bollywood.

We reported recently about Katrina Kaif walking the ramp in a dress with one of the famous paintings by her boyfriend Salman Khan. No doubt, she looked cool in it at the Being Human show, HDIL India Couture Week 2009, but surprisingly, she hate the dress.

Salman revealed that Katrina didn’t appreciate the dress with his painting though she enjoyed being part of the show. In spite of her dislike for his paintings, he is determined to do what he loves – painting.

Actress Katrina Kaif who has been shooting in Bhopal since almost a month for her forthcoming film, Rajneethi, took a day off from the shoot and flew to Mumbai on 13 October, to attend beau Salman Khan’s charity show.

She took a break for a day especially to attend the Being Human show at the HDIL India Couture Week in Mumbai. Besides Katrina the show saw actors Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt ,Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Govinda, among others make an appearance at the ramp to raise funds for the charity run by Salman.

Bollywood leading ladies Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta have turned down veteran actor Govinda&aposs request to star opposite him in a small cameo in the upcoming film” Life Partner”.The actor is dismayed as he had taken the onus of convincing a prominent leading lady to pair up with him for a special cameo. He had hoped his tinsel town friends Lara and Katrina would agree to play this small but significant part, sources close to the film said.

Bollywood’s barbie girl Katrina Kaif seems to be a bit confused or picky in choosing her roles now.

Over the past few years this beautiful damsel would pick any role she would get. But post her hit ‘New York’ Kat wants to do relevant roles and not be an arm-candy anymore.

Rumours were that Katrina was approached for a cameo role opposite Govinda in ‘Life Partner’ but she refused stating date-problem. But it is length of the role that put the actress off according to sources.

It seems like Katrina Kaif is in a somewhat confused mood these days. The actress who appeared on screen in every other film in the past few years is finally being a bit pickier when it comes to small roles.

The first of these incidents happened for Rumi Jafri’s Life Partner for which Katrina, as well as Lara Dutta, was approached for a cameo role opposite Govinda. Of course the reason behind her not being able to take the role was the classic ‘date problem’ excuse. However, rumour has it that it was the short length of the role that put Katrina off.

Prakash Jha does not need Bollywood stars as “crutches” but Katrina Kaif would not be a bad catch.

The filmmaker-turned-politician, named the Lok Janshakti Party candidate from Bettiah in Bihar, was today practically forced by reporters to concede that he would not mind if the attractive star campaigned for him.

“She is welcome to campaign if she wants to,” Jha said of the actress of his film Rajniti, in which Katrina’s character is supposed to resemble Sonia Gandhi.
