Actress Genelia D’Souza and the makers of ‘Big Switch’ hoped to add more glam by roping in Katrina Kaif for their slum clean-up drive.

But sick Kat opted out! Kat’s been unwell and switched off her mobile as well. Kat’s illness had kept them on tenterhooks, but she hadn’t called it off till the last moment.

Her manager told the show organizers that she was off on the last day. So it came to some small time celebrities like Narayani Shastri and Shonali Nagrani who were thought of as last moment fillers and drafted in. Earlier John Abraham too has been on the show when he helped out one contestant Natasha Suri as well.

After the talks that Aishwarya Bachchan would be immortalized as a Barbie doll, there was speculation that Genelia D’Souza was considered too because of her doll like and younger face. Then suddenly it came out that Katrina Kaif would be the Barbie and she claimed that Ash was not in the running at all.

Katrina also went around telling whoever cared to listen that she’s the first Indian to get that privilege. Well, many ridiculed that claim of hers as she holds a British passport. And she might claim that she has nothing against Aishwarya and that she respects her and all that, but smart cookie Aishwarya isn’t one to stay quiet without clarifying things.
