After working with ‘boys’ Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee in Raajneeti, actress Katrina Kaif is missing them. So while the gang enjoyed the recent Hong Kong premiere of the film, Kat unfortunately had to skip the do.

And the culprit is Kat’s busy schedule. In fact, as soon as she came from Dubai and Muscat she jetted to Spain for Zoya Akhtar’s film Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara. But Kat is keeping in touch with the ‘Raajneeti’ team and she is aware what’s happening and where; it’s just that she is physically missing from the action.

Katrina Kaif is set to take on a very interesting role that no leading actress in Bollywood has played in recent memory. She is set to don the army fatigues and play a bumbling new recruit in a film to be produced by her only.

But isn’t the role of a woman in the army an odd one for a pretty woman like Katrina.

Director Prakash Jha has an uncanny sense of humour. When asked by a scribe how he managed a power-packed star cast of young actors (Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif) and National Award winners (Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai, Ajay Devgan and Nana Patekar) during the shooting of Raajneeti (Stills), the director replied, “The young actors would wake up at 5 O’clock in the morning and make tea for the National Award winners. They would sit on the floor, while the rest of us sat on chairs!”

Katrina’s long Hindi dialogues in ‘Rajneeti’ have got the star a lot of attention, but does she speak the language well in real life? Apparently, not yet.

At a recent press meet for the movie in Mumbai, Katrina was answering the questions put to her in English. So some journalists asked her to answer their questions in Hindi. And the star was at a loss for words! It seems that she was unable to answer questions in Hindi, and kept returning to English.

Katrina Kaif, the firang bollywood babe who plays the character of Indu Pratap Singh in Prakash Jha’s upcoming ‘Rajneeti’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor, is all set to meet the young politician Priyanka Gandhi Vadra after watching her mannerism and behavior through CDs and video clips before enacting the character.

Katrina wants to meet Priyanka Gandhi and other politicians like Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, congress leader Ambika Soni ,etc, to see if her portrayal of the character was perfect. Katrina also wanted to meet Sonia Gandhi, but due to busy scheduled of the congress president, she was not able to get a positive response on that count.
