Katrina Kaif is candid enough to confess that it is more fun working with the younger heroes than the older ones.

In the beginning of her career she worked with senior actors like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. She was paired with the younger actor like Ranbir Kapoor in the recent past in films like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti that were successful, and then she did a Yashraj film with Imran Khan – Mere Brother Ki Dulhan which is about to release.

Reigning Bollywood queen, Katrina Kaif has said that it’s easier to work with younger actors as compared to senior actors, Zee News reports. The actress, who made her debut in a film starring Amitabh Bachchan and later went on to star in several films with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, feels she gels well with younger lot of actors like Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

In a candid interview to a daily, Katrina said, “I don`t think anyone will mind if I say that it is very different working with older heroes because the age difference is of about 20 years, and just about two to three years with the younger heroes with who you can even do nonsense on the sets.

For instance, Imran would come on the sets, he would kick me playfully. At times there would be nothing constructive what we were doing, there is so much bachpana.” Katrina and Imran star in Yash Raj’s next ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’. Katrina also admits that she is petrified to worked with Salman`s archenemy, Shah Rukh Khan. “I don`t know what it will be like working with Shah Rukh but I have heard that he makes his heroines very comfortable which is good.” daily times monitor

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s onscreen magic that ensured packed houses for their films like Namastey London and Singh Is Kingg seems to have fizzled out with flops like De Dana Dan and Tees Maar Khan.

Perhaps to revive this magic, Akshay has been prodding producer-director Vipul Amrutlal Shah to make the film’s sequel. Now, Shah, who’s never been gung-ho about making sequels of his hit films, has finally succumbed to Akshay’s demand and decided to go ahead with Namastey London 2.

Shah is reportedly in the process of writing the script. The original movie was about a rustic Punjabi lad winning over his rich and pampered London bride (Kat). In the sequel, the character of Akshay and Katrina will go through matrimonial troubles that will be the source of humour and drama in the story.

Though Shah and Akshay have virtually green-lit the project, Katrina hasn’t yet been informed of their plan for the sequel. It’s not because she won’t be part of the sequel. But because Shah and Akshay want to surprise her as she herself has been asking Shah to make the film’s sequel.

Shah is currently busy with his production Force, starring John Abraham. After he’s done with this film, he will set out to direct Namastey London 2. Till that time, he will work on the script.

After her hit item number Sheila Ki Jawani in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, golden girl of Bollywood Katrina Kaif will once again be seen doing an item number in Shirish Kunder’s Joker.

As per reports, Katrina will be seen doing an item number in Shirish Kunder’s upcoming film Joker. The film is produced by Farah Khan and Akshay Kumar and stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.

Farah Khan who choreographed hit item numbers like Munni Badnaam and Sheila ki Jawani, will also choreograph this item number in Joker with Sonakshi Sinha and Katrina Kaif.

With both hotties on board, the item number is sure going to be even more sizzling.

Sonakshi Sinha the Dabangg girl seems to be replacing Katrina Kaif a lot these days, the latest being in soap commercial. The latest between the two Bollywood beauties, ie., Katrina and Sonakshi is the fact that Sonakshi would be doing her first Advertisement for a soap company Dyna whose face used to be the Katrina Kaif. According to the rumors a cold war has been raging between the two actresses and this would definitely add some more fuel to the fire.

However both the actresses are denying the ongoing war specially Sonakshi who it seems doesn’t want to be in logger heads with her senior. Inspite of the fact that Sonakshi has landed the plum role opposite Akshay Kumar in Prabhu Deva’s next directorial which was eyed by Katrina for a long time, Sonakshi is maintaining that she is not in competition.

On her defense Sonakshi Sinha is quite humble and said that since products does change the face of their campaign after some years it is no big a deal that she is doing Dyna Soap’s add after Katrina and this proves the fact that she is replacing no one. Sporting a sweet smile the Salman Khan favorite said, “Katrina had done the Dyna campaign many years back and they haven’t had a brand ambassador after her. So like every brand and celebrity move on, so have Dyna and Katrina. She has moved to Lux. I’ve come in to Dyna, simple!”

Katrina Kaif might be reigning the roost in Bollywood, but she had to face rejection at MasterChef India anchored by Akshay Kumar.

The judges spat the omelette that she had personally whipped up on the show after tasting it, leaving Kaif almost in tears.

Asked about her uncharacteristic display of emotions over just an omelette, Katrina doesn’t do her usual I-am-too-prim-to-react act.

She says, “I agree I was very upset. But it was not ‘just an omelette’. I made it on the show.

That is the only thing I can make in the kitchen. And I’m very confident about my omelettes. When everyone on MasterChef hated its taste, I was devastated. I felt humiliated.”

She was surrounded by a mob at a local mall and they would not let her go. Katrina’s make-up man had to intervene to rescue her. He accompanied her back to the hotel room she stayed.

The strange thing is that Salman Khan has surpassed even Shahrukh Khan in the most downloaded celebrity list. Following Salman Khan and SRK are younger actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor.

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif’s pretty face was preferred to other Bollywood actresses like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The list makes clear the fact that it is not only their box office ratings that affect the people’s choice when it comes to downloading their favourite celebrity’s pictures.

Actress Katrina Kaif was in for an unpleasant surprise when she reached Ghatkopar to promote her latest movie with Akshay Kumar. Kaif didn’t anticipate that at least one lakh people would turn up to see her and the situation would soon go out of hand.

The cops from Mulund police station were sent an SOS who had to whisk the actress to the police station and escort her back to her car.

“It was around seven in the evening (on Friday) when Akshay and Katrina landed up at the Mulund mall to promote the movie. Katrina and Farah Khan were also there. But the crowd kept on increasing in number and it became evident that it would be difficult for the security guards there to take charge of the situation. Kaif was also growing anxious when she saw the swelling crowd getting in touching distance,” says a source present at the mall.

Meanwhile, Kaif called for her car but she couldn’t get through to her driver. The car was stationed away from the mall and somehow couldn’t get near her. That was the time when a call was made to Mulund police station seeking for help. “The cops came in and Katrina was escorted to the police station after bypassing the crowd through a different exit. The police (Kaif’s) car escorted Kat back to her car,” the source added. An official from Mulund police station also confirmed the development.
