Akshay Kumar played the real hero and rescued Katrina Kaif after she injured herself while shooting the climax scene of De Dhana Dhan .

Akki and Kat are set to weave their magic again in Priyadarshan’s upcoming comedy, which also stars the rest of Hera Pheri gang – Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty . But ‘Hera Pheri 3’ this film is not.

The movie is a comedy revolving around several madcap characters. The climax scene shows all of them getting swept by a tsunami. The shooting was recently going on in Mumbai’s Film City where gallons of water was used to create a tsunami.

Britain-born Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who has given many hits with Akshay Kumar, says she trusts the star’s script sense and often follows him into projects.

Katrina’s last hit with Akshay was Singh is Kinng.

“He has a fantastic script sense. And you know, when he’s doing it, it will work. Not that I go blindly into films that feature him. But, yes, he does have a fantastic knowledge of what works at the box office. That explains our success ratio together,” said Katrina.

Interestingly, in Vipul Shah’s Namastey London, Katrina had the main role while Akshay played the supporting part. The tables were turned in Singh Is Kinng. But Katrina says she wasn’t allowed to complain.

The Venus produced ‘De Dana Dhan’ will have Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif coming together for the fifth time.

This jodi has emerged as one of the most successful on screen jodis of all times in Bollywood what with their three back two back hits, ‘Namastey London’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Singh Is Kinng’ having done record business at the box office world wide( though most of the above can only be called surprise hits!)

‘De Dana Dhan ‘ is directed by Priyadarshan and it brings back the super hit team of Hera Pheri - Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty and Paresh Rawal after over 8 years.

Akshay and Katrina Kaif is considered as one of the best screen couples in Bollywood. Akshay and Katrina tasted success in four consecutive films. It’s obvious that her priority for Akshay will be much higher than any other actresses. She always stands first in the row and will remain as long as she registers a hit with him.

The frequent pairing and good onscreen chemistry between Akshay and Katrina is believed to have rattled Salman Khan who is romantically linked with Katrina Kaif.

Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar were invited on Salman Khan’s show Dus ka Dum. Luckily, everything went off well. No incident took place which could create further differences between Salman and Akshay. Poor Katrina did not have much to say.

THE SHOOTING of the episode has been done with and Katrina and Akshay Kumar would be seen playing Dus Ka Dum with Salman Khan. The proceedings of the show went on quite smoothly given by the history of the cold vibes between Sallu bhai and Akki.
