Katrina Kaif is candid enough to confess that it is more fun working with the younger heroes than the older ones.

In the beginning of her career she worked with senior actors like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. She was paired with the younger actor like Ranbir Kapoor in the recent past in films like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti that were successful, and then she did a Yashraj film with Imran Khan – Mere Brother Ki Dulhan which is about to release.

Actor Katrina Kaif may not have a stake in any cricket team, but the actor’s quite a cricket fan. A self-confessed sports buff, cricket’s one of her favourite sports and the actor’s not just content in watching the game, but loves playing it too.

A source close to Katrina revealed that she loves cricket and played it on the sets of New York. She even tried her hand at baseball during Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, even though she was dressed in a gown.

During Rajneeti too, she would play cricket with the unit hands and other actors, inspite of wearing a sari.

And it’s no different during her shoot for the Imran Khan starrer Mere Brother Ki Dulhan that she’s shooting for in Punjab. The source added, “Katrina’s quite sporty in nature and hates sitting in one place. Unlike other actresses she doesn’t head to the vanity van after the shoot too. Instead she keeps a bat ready for a game and has even gotten her co-stars hooked onto the game.”

Well, seeing an actress weild a cricket bat instead of a make-up brush is quite a change for sure.

Very few know that Bollywood’s leading lady Katrina Kaif loves to dance and is always keen on learning new styles of dance.

Says Katrina, “I enjoy dancing immensely”.

Though her last two releases Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rajneeti didn’t see her performing in out and out dance numbers. She is ready to get back to her passion in Director/Choreographer Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan.

Katrina Kaif will be seen shaking a leg and hip to a foot tapping number in the film especially choreographed for her by Farah.

Reveals a source, “In the song ‘Sheela Ki Jawani’ you will see Katrina Kaif belly dancing under the training of a Brazilian expert. Since she is so passionate about dancing Farah has decided to show audiences how good a dancer she really is”.

Ajab prem ki ghazab kahani: Prem’s (Ranbir Kapoor) strategy in life was very simple – be happy, make others happy and keep the town happy. But this supposedly simple strategy usually results in disastrous consequences for Prem, and the members of his Happy Club and the town. It may have been a case of mistaken identity that led Prem to kidnap Jenny (Katrina Kaif).

And it was sheer greed that made Prem try to pull a fast one over her father. After sharing screen space in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti, the superhit jodi would reportedly pair together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s next, reports Mumbai Mirror.

The director wants to team up with his Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani star Katrina Kaif for his new film with Ashtavinayak. He recently inked the deal with the production house for the comic caper.

The filmmaker is however known for announcing projects that never see light of day. “But he and the producers are keen that this project rolls by the year-end. He tasted success with Ajab Prem… after his last few films did not do well. Due to which he is keen to make a film with Katrina again who is a lucky mascot for him” says a source.

The film will have two heroes and another actress.

An Ashtavinayak spokesperson confirms to Mumbai Mirror, “Rajkumar Santoshi is directing a film for which work is in progress.”



Katrina Kaif seems to be having a sense of how a film would fair at the box office. She seems to have her ability going really strong as was seen during the film ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. She seems to have an intellect of forecasting the merit of the film at the box office.
When ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ was still not released, apart from the producer and the director, only Katrina was positively convinced of the success of the film. Her co-star, Ranbir Kapoor however had speculations galore about the success of the film. Now, a song from ‘Raajneeti’, ‘ mora piya’ might do well with the public thinks Ranbir, because Katrina thinks so.

Katrina Kaif is the cynosure of all eyes in Bollywood these days because of her forthcoming release, Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti. The gorgeous actress, who especially trained (Article) to improve her Hindi diction and went de-glam (Movie Stills) for the film, wants the audiences to judge her after watching the film.

Incidentally, around the same time that Katrina had finished shooting for Raajneeti, in February, she had said at a press conference (Read Interview) that she would “like to do a nice, simple, classic rom-com like When Harry Met Sally.”

“I am speaking in Hindi, you’re just misunderstanding that I’m talking in English,” joked Katrina the Raajneeti press conference (Event Stills) in Bombay on May 8. “In terms of the way I speak in the film, please see the film and then pass judgments. After New York and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, the audiences known the way I speak and they have accepted it. So, I will just be grateful for that,” Katrina added.

In answer to a question about her favourite character from the film, Katrina said, “Nana Patekar’s, because I like the way he knows everything. A man of few words but he means whatever he says.”
