Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are going through a turbulent phase in their relationship. One of the reasons is the ghost of ex-flame Aishwarya Rai which refuses to leave them

Of late the issue of spat between them was related to Salman Khan’s artistic skills. Salman Khan has been trying his hand at painting portraits and has presented paintings to fellow stars. He gave a pic of Raj Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor and he also painted a picture of Drona for Abhishek Bachchan recently. Salman has won a lot of friends with his warm gesture.

Abhishek Bachchan (seen here with wifey Aishwarya Rai) had this to say in his wife’s defence:

“Nakshatra was discontinued by Aishwarya. It is false news that she lost out the endorsement to Katrina Kaif. Aishwarya had some conditions and the company did not come to terms with this, so she called it off.”

At the Nakshatra press conference on Tuesday to announce her as the brand’s new ambassador, Katrina was surprisingly all praise for Aishwarya, whom she replaced.

In fact, in a subtle manner she thanked Ash for raising the profile of the brand. Being diplomatic, she said she had no competition or enmity with Ash, whom she has also replaced as the most searched Bollywood celeb on the internet.

However, it’s often said that Katrina does secretly compete with Sallu’s ex-girlfriend and is consciously working to overtake her in terms of success and popularity.

Amitabh Bachchan had always shared a cordial relationship with Salman Khan till his son Abhishek married Salman’s ex Aishwarya. Since then Big B has been seen to be uncomfortable in the company of Salman. Recently at the music launch of Vipul Shah’s Singh Is Kinng Amitabh slipped out of the party as soon as he spotted Salman walking in.

Amitabh was the chief guest at the music launch and was to do the honours. Salman then walked into the party with lady love Katrina Kaif who plays lead in the movie. Spotting Salman, Amitabh left the party without saying a word to anyone. Salman however enjoyed the party and unveiled the album along with Katrina and others.

A few days ago we reported that Abhishek Bachchan was not happy about Harman Baweja getting signed by ace director Ashutosh Gowarikar… the jealousy of this was seen on Aby’s Baby’s face at the IIFA fashion show where Harman walked the ramp. Now, we hear that Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya has joined him on the ladder of jealousy…

Aishwarya is amazed as to how fellow actress Katrina Kaif has been declared the sexiest Asian woman by FHM. Apparently Ash has been joking that Kat must’ve paid a handsome amount to get on the cover. Ash has been saying she’s been here long enough to know how undeserving actresses end up on the covers of international magazines and Katrina definitely isn’t in the league to make it there!
