Katrina Kaif is working with all the three Khans – Salman (‘Ek Tha Tiger’), Aamir (‘Dhoom 3′) and Shah Rukh (Yash Raj’s romantic drama also starring Anushka Sharma) – and now there might be more starry associations up ahead for the actress. Apparently, she’d been approached to star in Rohit Shetty’s next opposite SRK, but the twist in the tale is that Kareena Kapoor is also supposedly keen on the same role.

Kareena is, of course, a Rohit Shetty favourite, having starred in the ‘Golmaal’ movies. But Kat’s stock has risen tremendously after her consecutive hits (‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’) and it is rumoured that she might be a better fit for the new film from the hotshot ‘Singham’ director. This new project is believed to be an action thriller.

Meanwhile, Kareena is currently celebrating the success of ‘RA.One’ in which she starred opposite Shah Rukh. Bebo and SRK are close friends, and he has admitted that she got the heroine’s role in his home production simply because she said that she wanted it. Priyanka Chopra and Asin had been considered for the part in the early stages of conceptualisation for ‘RA.One’.

We have all loved Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s pairing in films. Time and again the reel life couple have made us fall in love with love. In fact their jodi is considered one of the most successful jodis of Bollywood. But it seems brit beauty Katrina Kaif is all set to take Kajol’s place!

Kat is being paired with King Khan in two forthcoming films. Yash Chopra’s directorial venture will star SRK, Katrina and Anushka Sharma in the lead. Needless to say, this one will be a classic romance.

Latest development is that Katrina is also being considered to star opposite SRK in Rohit Shetty’s next. Katrina will however have to fight it out with Kareena Kapoor, a Rohit Shetty favourite, before she bags the coveted project.

Speaking to a daily, a source close to Rohit revealed, “Katrina Kaif is at an all time career high. Currently, she is working with the three biggest Khans – Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir. Rohit Shetty’s action film that goes on floors in May next year will be her fourth consecutive film with a Khan.”

Though Rohit has approached Katrina, Rohit is also contemplating on casting Kareena. And why not? Kareena is also having a successful run at the BO and her pairing with SRK in ‘RA.One’ has been much appreciated.

“Kareena has worked with SRK in ‘Asoka’ and ‘RA.One’. She shares a good on-screen chemistry with him. Also, director Rohit Shetty is very fond of her. She has been his chosen one for the successful Golmaal franchise. She is the obvious choice for the project,” said the source.

Industry insiders feel that Katrina’s friendship with Rohit might just pay off. “Katrina is working with SRK in Yash Chopra’s film. She has become good friends with the actor as well. She might have been recommended by him as well,” added the source.

Rohit Shetty had initially planned to re make 1982 classic ‘Angoor’ with SRK but after the success of ‘RA.One’ SRK has shown keen interest in doing an action film.

“When Rohit decided to make an action film with Shah Rukh, he decided to change his heroine as well. Earlier he wanted Kareena to portray the role played by Moushumi Chatterjee in the original ‘Angoor’. But with the change in the script, he decided upon Katrina Kaif,” revealed another source.

Looks like another hit jodi is in the making! Wonder what ‘good friend’ Salman has to say about all this.

When the ‘Dhobi Ghat’ actor, Aamir Khan will pair up with the ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ hottie, Katrina Kaif, then one can undoubtedly look forward to an exceptional display of beauty with perfection on the silver screen.

Tabloids have revealed that Mr. Perfectionist and the Barbie doll have been zeroed in as the lead pair in an imminent motion picture, to be produced under a reputed banner.

The preceding year, the two high-flying stars, Aamir and Katrina had posed for the cover page of a magazine, flaunting the look of the celebrated on-screen couple Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman. The duo looked awesome.

Formerly, when asked why he didn’t pair with the bombshell, Aamir had said that he was not offered any film with Kaif, so far.

Last year, in a conversation with the TOI, Aamir said, “Katrina is a huge star. But no filmmaker has come forward with a proposal to cast us.”

The other reason behind Aamir not working with Kat was that she was his best pal, Salman Khan’s ladylove in earlier times and thus, the ‘Ghajini’ actor was a little unenthusiastic to romance her on-screen.

But now, as Salman and Katrina have parted ways, Aamir has no hesitation in working with Katrina.

A source said, “Now that Salman and Kat have split, Aamir may team up with the Bollywood diva.”

Katrina Kaif and Rahul Gandhi have emerged as India’s most eligible single woman and man in a poll conducted by a wedding portal.

While Gandhi polled 30 per cent votes, Katrina was preferred by 27.5 per cent respondents.

“It surely feels nice to top such a poll. I really hope I will not remain single forever,” smiled Kaif, while reacting to the outcome of the poll by BharatMatrimony. com. She beat Vidya Balan (22.7 per cent votes), Priyanka Chopra (18.7 per cent) and Deepika Padukone (13.3 per cent) to wrest the top spot.

Gandhi, on his part, edged out cricket skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, his vice- captain Yuvraj Singh and Bollywood stars Shahid Kapur and John Abraham to top the year- end poll. While Dhoni polled 21.1 per cent votes, Shahid had 13.4 per cent votes. Interestingly, flavour of the season Ranbir Kapoor finished sixth.

“Rahul Gandhi deserves the top slot. He comes across as a good boy and a thorough gentleman. Plus, there are no past ‘stories’ about him unlike several cricketers and movie stars,” ad guru Prahlad Kakkar said. ” For example, a person like Salman Khan is unlikely to top such a list due to his several past encounters with women,” he added.

Khan’s real-life girlfriend Kaif, however, has no such image problems. “Katrina comes across as a genuine and beautiful person off screen. I feel that really helps her connect with the audience. Unlike other divas, she doesn’t wear a mask in real life. Plus, she can easily connect with the youth, which is vital for a star,” New York director Kabir Khan said.

Kaif has been topped several surveys of late. Besides topping the annual World’s Sexiest Asian Women list by Eastern Eye website, she was also named the ‘ Google Queen’ in a Google India list. Along with Aamir, Rahul Gandhi and Katrina Khan, she also became the most downloaded Bollywood celebrity. Around 22,000 netizens participated in the poll, including well- known names from politics, sports, fashion and entertainment. The lists featured Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth, politician Milind Deora and Miss India Pooja Chopra.

Coming back to Kaif, the buzz is strong that Kaif has been getting close to Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani co- star Ranbir Kapoor after his “break- up” with Deepika Padukone.
