Reportedly, Katrina Kaif is peeved at her man these days. Salman Khan has been digs at his NRI girlfriend at every public event they have been together. Katrina has been seen giggling awkwardly as Salman jokes about her poor Hindi. Either that or he snubs her all of a sudden for no fault of her own. Katrina decided o get back at the actor by giving the special screening of their movie Yuvvraaj a miss.

Debutant director Anthony D’ Souza says his underwater action thriller ‘Blue’, said to be one of the most expensive Hindi films, has borrowed some elements from the 1970s Hollywood movie ‘The Deep’.

“To a certain extent ‘Blue’ is inspired by ‘The Deep’,” said D’Souza.

‘The Deep’, which released in 1977, was an underwater movie about a ship that sank with drugs and cocaine. The film, directed by Peter Yates, was even nominated for several awards, including the Oscars.

As we all know Katrina Kaif played Salman’s love interest in Yuvraaj but the serene beauty was missing from the promotional event and rather another new babe was seen on his arm. She is his new heroine Zarine Khan who resemblance very much like Katrina Kaif. Kat was away from the event as she was busy shooting for Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film at Yash Raj Studios till late that evening.

Just a few days back media was abuzz with the news that Anil Sharma’s costume action extravaganza, VEER, starring Salman Khan in the title role, was all set to feature a
new leading lady. The USP of the leading lady was that she was supposed to be Salman Khan’s good friend Katrina Kaif’s look–alike. The media (read telly) even flashed pictures of a starlet, Amrit as the (supposed) look–alike leading lady.

Speaking to a tabloid, Katrina revealed her beau’s biggest weakness.

“He (Salman) likes to act tough but it is so easy to win him over. Anyone who wants to get close to him only has to act defenceless, play the underdog and say, ‘I have no friends and no one loves me’. Bas, Salman will adopt that person,” Katrina is quoted as saying.
