Bollywood : Katrina Kaif on a roll

After being part of most major hits of this year and last, Katrina Kaif is having the time of her life.

Presently she is promoting her latest, Singh is Kinng. When asked about her state of mind, she says, “Right now, I’ve been running from pillar to post to talk about Singh is Kinng and I actually feel very tired. But I guess it is optimism! It’s the positivity I feel around me and nothing else,” says Katrina.

Katrina Kaif ventures to Shah Rukh Khan camp

Though Beau Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan cannot stand each other , Katrina Kaif is not resisting from projects costarring Shah Rukh Khan.

For one she is set to perform in the Temptations Reloaded tour of Shah Rukh Khan that is set to roll in Dubai from Mid October while Salman is away shooting in London.

Now she has given her nod to a new project with Yash Raj Films starring Shah Rukh Khan. Her acceptance came on the day Salman left for his 40-day shoot in Paris and London for Vipul Shah’s ‘London Dreams’. The movie also stars Big B and small B, to add to the fireworks.

Katrina swears by Akki’s script sense

Britain-born Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who has given many hits with Akshay Kumar, says she trusts the star’s script sense and often follows him into projects.

Katrina’s last hit with Akshay was Singh is Kinng.

“He has a fantastic script sense. And you know, when he’s doing it, it will work. Not that I go blindly into films that feature him. But, yes, he does have a fantastic knowledge of what works at the box office. That explains our success ratio together,” said Katrina.

Interestingly, in Vipul Shah’s Namastey London, Katrina had the main role while Akshay played the supporting part. The tables were turned in Singh Is Kinng. But Katrina says she wasn’t allowed to complain.

Sharman Joshi has whooped it up in the comedy genre. He now wants to try out a variety of roles

If there is one actor who will never undermine the significance of multi-starrers, it is Sharman Joshi. After playing the role of the affable Sukhi in Rang De Basanti, and the over-ambitious Rahul in Life in a Metro, he now plays Shyam Varma, a call centre employee in Hello. Joshi who has worked with industry bigwigs right from his debut film Godmother, is gung-ho about sharing screen space with some of Bollywood’s best yet again, that include Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

The svelte model-turned-actress Katrina Kaif was spotted launching the new Kodak M-series in Mumbai. And what is any launch without a little bit of Bollywood flavour in it?

“My association with Kodak goes back a long way. I have done many print advertisements for them. Soon, I will be doing a TV advertisement too,” said Katrina.

Katrina to dump ‘possessive’ Salman?

Mumbai: Rumor has it that Bollywood’s spoilt child Salman Khan and his actor girlfriend Katrina Kaif will soon be parting ways.

Mumbai tabloids have reported that in the last few weeks the couple has been fighting a lot, because of Salman’s possessive behaviour.

It’s been reported that Salman is not too happy with Katrina’s closeness with her Namaste London co-star Akshay Kumar. Now she is once again paired opposite Akshay in Vipul Shah’s Singh is King.

Adding fuel to the fire, is the rumour that Salman was furious when Katrina signed Rajkumar Santoshi’s film opposite Shahid Kapoor, who is in Salman’s bad books.

Mumbai: Salman Khan always prefers to take a back seat when it comes to the marketing front of his movies and was also missing from all the promotional rounds of his new film Hello.

CNN-IBN caught up with the actor to ask about his new movie and his relation with Katrina Kaif.

Salman Khan says hello to his fans this Friday as Atul Agnihotri directed Hello hits theatres. Though his co-stars Sohail Khan, Sharman Joshi, Amrita Arora and Gul Panag have been busy promoting the film through the week, Salman has preferred to take a back seat on the marketing front.

Salman Khan avoids Saif Ali Khan’s party

Salman Khan and his entourage avoided a party thrown by Kareena Kapoor for celebrating Saif Ali Khan’s birthday.

This was to avoid collision course with rival Shah Rukh Khan and his party who were in strong presence at the party. The party was hosted at “ Four Seasons” in Worli, Mumbai.

Instead, Salman chose to attend a party thrown by Subhash Ghai to celebrate his wife Rehana’s birthday at the JW Marriott in Juhu, despite a special invitation from Kareena Kapoor.
