He seems to have gone too far when it comes to dealing with the recent controversy that took place on Katrina Kaif’s birthday.

The question is - is it fair to punish Katrina for something that Salman Khan did? She may be his girlfriend but she has nothing to do with the recent spat between Salman and Shahrukh on her birthday. However, Shahrukh is said to have pulled Katrina out of his Temptation Reloaded Tour. If it’s true, then it would be like punishing a person for the wrong that somebody has done.

If Katrina Kaif marries boyfriend Salman Khan, she has to live with his family. But her journey into the Khan family won’t be a catwalk if the latest rumours are to be believed. The news is doing the rounds that Salman’s sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan is not very fond of Katrina.

It is said that Salman was keen on casting his girlfriend Katrina in his brother Arbaaz Khan’s maiden production venture but Malaika is said to be not convinced. So, Katrina won’t be asked to be part of the film though Salman is playing the lead role in it.

Katrina Kaif was shooting for Subhash Ghai’s ‘Yuvvraaj ‘at the world famous Swavroski showroom in Austria recently. Known for its landmark jewelry and showpieces, unit members began teasing Katrina saying that the rare crystal pieces would catch her attention more and the shooting work less. “What piece of jewelry should I buy for myself? What piece would best adorn my home?” were the questions, the unit members said, surely troubled Katrina. But surprise, surprise! Katrina was only focused on her work. Her attention was completely on the scene that was being shot. “Not even once did Katrina’s attention get drifted towards the showpieces and the jewelry. She was completely immersed in her work. She was ‘crystal’ clear about her career. Anybody in her place would have easily given into the temptation of walking around the beautifully decorated store and shopped like a maniac. But not Katrina.”

Katrina Kaif, who is on location in the US filming for Kabir Khan’s next, has been away from her family since the past two months and the gnawing loneliness is making her eagerly look forward to Christmas, which she hopes to spend with her family.

“I am feeling homesick,” says the 24-year-old.

Katrina’s sister Isabelle recently visited her to keep her in good cheer.

“Isabelle was on a vacation,” Katrina says. “She flew down here to spend sometime with me. I miss my family a lot. I miss my home. But what to do my professional commitments keep me busy. I am glad that my family flies down to meet me whenever they can.”
