However, this time it was not just any film star but superstar Salman Khan and the gorgeous Katrina Kaif who made an appearance on the sets of Zee TV’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009′.

The duo was there to promote their latest film Yuvvraaj (which releases on Nov 21st) and when you have Bollywood’s hottest couple together, there is bound to be some magic.

Even after years of being in this industry, there are very few like Salman whose presence alone can make a show magical. Together Salman and Katrina made for a picture perfect couple and set the pulse racing.

Salman was his usual flamboyant self and Katrina as demure as ever. Amidst casual conversations, moments of mirth and camaraderie, they appeased everyone on the sets.

From doing a salsa jig with one of the contestants, Pratibha, to playing cupid between her and Soumen to making Himesh Reshammiya the butt of all jokes, Sallu did it all with élan and gave all the participants some wonderful moments to cherish. What’s more? He even made fun of Katrina for her poor Hindi, all in good spirit of course.

Amidst all the fun, the 4 mentors, Himesh Reshammiya, Aadesh Shrivastav, Pritam and Shankar Mahadevan each dedicated a song to him.

However, the moment of the day came when Salman waltzed with Katrina as Pritam began singing ‘Teri Ore’ from Singh is Kinng.

All in all, a good time was had by one and all.

Sallu has been in the film industry for almost two decades, and there is no one that entertains quite like him. His sheer presence on the show was enjoyable to the core, and Katrina only helped matters. Together Salman and Katrina looked picture perfect and sent the audience into a tizzy.

Sallu may have made fun of Katrina in good spirits, but there won’t quite be high spirits when they go home. Katrina is very sensitive about her Hindi and jokes are met with bitter cold stares. Leaving all that aside, one little thing haunts me - What in the world is wrong with Katrina’s midriff?? Is she pregnant? Or has she just put on a little weight? Or is it that dress? Go figure…

Katz said, “I have never said that I will not work with Salman Khan after Yuvraj.”

“I always go by the script. I do not know how such speculations float around. If our dates work out, we will feature in Sohail Khan’s next film,” she added.

On reports that she was no longer part of King Khan’s Temptations world tour after the much-hyped SRK-Sallu noisy quarrel at her birthday party, the cute-faced actress sated that she loved dancing, and being on stage.

“If dates permit, I will be a part of the show,” she said.

Katrina, who recently replaced Bachchan’s Bahu Aishwarya as the ambassador of Nakshtra jewellary brand, disclosed that she is going to United States to shoot for Kabir Khan’s flick, which will be produced by Yash Raj Films, this week.

Katz will be paired opposite Bollywood hunk John Abraham in this yet-untitled film.

“This will be my longest outdoor schedule ever,” she told.

But before that, Katrina is looking forward to the release of her upcoming movie ‘Singh is Kinng’ on August 8.

“It is an entertaining film and we have worked very hard on it,” Katrina said, adding, “Akshay has a good sense of script, commercial cinema and audience tastes. He is unbiased towards his co-stars. Namastey London was a woman centric film but Akshay was its strength as well. Besides, we have fun matching each other’s energy in dancing,” she stated.

And this time, Bollywood hottie has not fallen in love with a person, rather it’s the lovely ‘Prague’ where she is shooting for Subhash Ghai’s upcoming movie ‘Yuvraaj.’

Katrina exclaimed, “I think it’s one of the most romantic places I’ve been to. It’s so calm, serene and beautiful. I’ve had some lovely experiences there.”

Katrina did not reveal much about her endearing experiences.

But the reality that she was shooting there with her beau (Salman Khan) definitely must have made it all the things lovelier.

“Oh, I had a fun time shooting there. Subhash sir, Anil and Salman all of them are thorough professionals so there’s a lot to learn from them always,” she added.

“In fact I am even planning on coming here once again as soon as I decide to treat myself to a nice vacation!”

Getting a perfect look is no child’s play, and when it comes to ace Bollywood actress like Katrina Kaif, every one becomes very serious.

According to a media report, for just the purpose of one scene in his upcoming film, Yuvvraaj, gorgeous Katrina Kaif tried an amazing number of 200 dresses (gowns).

“Katrina’s look in Yuvvraaj is very classic and regal with the emphasis being on empire line waistlines and Grecian gowns”, exposed a source.

The source further added, “Each gown gave a different effect. Katrina wanted to then zero in on gowns that would make a fairy tale kind of impact on screen.”

It seems that the effort has paid off as Kat certainly looked wonderful in the gown.

Salman and Katrina have given hit films in the past, and the audiences have accepted them. However, ‘Yuvvraaj’ is the first film in which the two are paired opposite each other in a serious romance, and Katrina is nervous about how the audiences will take it. The film’s romantic aura will make the couple be judged!

In her take on Salman, the lissome Katrina said that he is very reliable, but he is not romantic - he considers himself is a unique lover. Talking about the Bollywood bachelor’s good looks, she said: “I cannot deny that Salman and I had an instant connection when we met. I thought he was a striking personality.”

Salman, who refused to look into Katrina’s eyes during the shoot and chose to look into the camera instead, said of her: “She’s a classic example, of ‘the harder you work, the better you get’. She toils a lot and is very professional.” He said he was not anxious about being romantically paired with Katrina in ‘Yuvvraaj’. He said: “She is my good friend. Meri dost hai, and she’s also my co-star in this film. I am aware that we will be judged, but I’m cool about that.”

This is also the time when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have gone public with their off screen romance.

Salman and Katrina have decided to go public no matter what the odds. Too much intimacy on screen and off screen may deter family audiences.

On the other hand Katrina believes that an off screen romance will have no impact on the fate of a film as Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor proved in Jab We Met.

So is Salman a romantic person? Surprisingly, Katrina’s answer was,” “ No! He is not romantic at all. He keeps it all for the screen. I want to go on holidays, but he says it’s boring to be alone together. He hates candlelight dinners. He wants his food to be ready on the table when he reaches a restaurant. I think he likes to be surrounded by people. He is so unromantic!”

Does she think he is prince charming? “I don’t believe in Prince Charming. I’m 24, and I’m beginning to accept people’s flaws. Nobody is perfect. But I believe in respect in a relationship, I would like my partner to be able to make me laugh, and I need to trust him. These days, you cannot completely rely on trust. You have to go by your hunch,” she said.

Whatever be Salman’s short comings, Katrina admits that they made an instant connection when they met. The rest is history.

Prabhakar Shukla told The Times that he would start shooting of the movie Rave Party from July in Goa and is in contact with Katrina Kaif for the proposed role of playing act of Scarlett. He further said he wished to reveal less known facts about the Portugese colony that is know as “hippy paradise” and have become shelter for drug peddlers and addicts. According to Shukla, ‘The whole film is about drug abuse and the exploitation of tourist” and he further said just not in India but in entire world real life cinema is attracting tourists. According to the comments reported to ‘The Times’ Mrs MacKeown said she is in doubt about the movie that might depict Scarlett in bad shade rather than her killers and police that was lenient in dealing with culprits. “I’d like to know how they’re going to portray it, or I won’t approve it,” she told The Times. “I’m not sure about calling it Rave Party. Scarlett was not at a party. She was raped and murdered on the beach.”

However, Scarlett’s case is recognized as one of the most brutal of a series of recent sexual assaults on foreign women tourist and most of them being female have raised concern about the safety of female tourists in Indian during last six month.
