Saif Ali Khan recently came to the rescue of his co-star Katrina Kaif when she was having trouble driving a vintage car on the sets of Race.

Katrina is actually a good driver, but got herself into trouble when she had to drive a vintage car in Cape Town.

Even directors Abbas-Mustan did not know what to do because the scene demanded Katrina should be shown driving that car.

After many takes and retakes nothing worked out. Thankfully, Saif offered help.

Saif is an expert in handling vintage cars and managed to take charge of the situation. According to unit members, Saif drove the manually transmitted car himself, in place of Katrina, in such a manner that on screen she would be seen driving the car and not Saif.

Katrina also confirms the story saying no doubt Saif is a great co-star to work with! Saif is getting all the attention these days isn’t he?
