Katrina Kaif, the sizzling hot babe of bollywood who rules the roost in tinsel town with her super duper hit flicks, has been declared the most downloaded heroine far ahead of Kareena Kapoor and other hotties.

Similarly, an annual survey by Airtel mobile has also placed perfectionist Aamir Khan, far ahead of his competitors King Khan Shah Rukh and macho man Salman Khan, in the matter of mobile download. The survey analyzed the data compiled from 116 million users of mobile phone from across the country.

What has surprised the industry watchers that Katrina Kaif, despite of being relatively new to industry than Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai etc, managed to cross them all and emerged winner of hearts of multitude of Indians. This is despite the fact that Katrina Kaif is not only a British citizen but could not speak a single word of any Indian language at the time of her bollywood debut opposite Big B in ‘Boom’.

The selection of Aamir Khan as the most downloaded bollywood male has also surprised many as Shah Rukh Khan has been brand ambassador of the Airtel for a long time, and also taken to be very popular with the audiences, especially with his female fans.

Even Salman Khan had better chances than Aamir as he has always been considered more handsome than either Aamir Khan or Shah Rukh Khan in the industry. Even muscle- making and six -pack -abs had Salman Khan as the original icon and Shah Rukh (in ‘Om Shanti Om’) and Aamir (in ‘Ghajini’) only came much later.

Similarly, Sachin Tendulkar topped the list of first five favorite sportsmen of the country followed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh. But in the female category, Maria Sarapova defeated our own tennis star Sania Mirza in people’s downloading preferences.
