Salman Khan may not want to see his girlfriend Katrina Kaif in skimpy clothes but the actress is likely to wear a bikini if the latest news is to be believed. The news is doing the rounds that she would be seen in a sexy avatar in Dostana 2 to be produced by Dharma Production.

Priyanka Chopra, who acted in the original Dostana, wore a swimsuit. So, it has become inevitable for Katrina to wear the two-piece cloth. It is said that designer Manish Malhotra would design the beachwear for the actress for two scenes in the Dostana sequel.

The two ladies were also to come together for Abbas Mustaan’s home production a remake of The Italian Job — but that isn’t happening anymore. There are various versions of why Priyanka is no longer in the film.

Abbas-Mustaan and Priyanka go back since Aitraaz and they were keen on repeating her. When they started working on their home production (co-produced by TV18), they signed Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif for the main leads but had one more interesting role for another heroine in the film, for which they approached Priyanka.”

Things are not going that good between the two Bollywood divas - Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. There are reports that Priyanka Chorpa has been squeezed out of a recent movie where she was supposed to share screen with Katrina.

There was no scope for the second female lead in the film, Abbas-Mustaan stated, “We had never approached Priyanka for any role so there’s no question of her not being in the film. Katrina and Abhishek are the only two people signed on for the film. There is scope for a second heroine who has a very good role but we haven’t decided yet which actress to approach.”

In Salman’s upcoming movie Veer Zarine Khan has played the role of Yasodhara. But this role of princess was initially offered to Salman’s lady love Katrina.

As per rumours, Katrina refused Salman due to date problems.

After her refusal, the role went to Zarine Khan who used to assist Katrina Kaif for a long time. And princess Yasodhara was Zarine and not Katrina.

Katrina is Karan Johar’s celebrity guest this week on Sony’s Lift Kara De… and she did ‘lift’ the show.

A website claimed that the the actress and King Khan recently arrived together for Arjun Rampal’s bash.
